4 Robert & Paige Hwy 789 Pingetzer Shoshoni, WY (307) We would like to welcome everyone the 33rd annual WBCIA Bull Test and Sale. The bulls on test this year have really expressed their potential and we feel that there is great selection for buyers to pick from. Thank you for taking the time to consider the cattle that are being offered for sale. Each consignor has taken the time to select the top bulls from their respective herds. Then they go through the test and are honed down even more. It is a great time to upgrade to young, energetic, genetically superior bulls. If you are looking for bulls to breed heifers, we have a good selection, with our new four and five-star calving ease designation, you should be able to select bulls to fill those needs. There is also a very good selection of cow bulls. All the bulls offered for sale have been tested, PAP scored, and semen tested, so they are ready to go to work. The weather has been pretty mild, but the warm and cold fluctuation has caused plenty of ice to deal with. Since the final weigh day, we have backed off the corn and changed the ration to offer cattle that will adjust for buyers in their environments. We think that the cattle are in very good working condition, and should maintain that condition, with a little care on the part of the new owners. We will feed bulls until April 1st at no charge to the new owners, or you can take $50 off the sale price if you take them home sale day. We will also feed bulls longer at the expense of the new owners, $2.50/hd/day. We would recommend that you buy some insurance on the bulls if you leave them in our care. Again, we want to thank all the people that make this sale possible. From the Shoshoni FFA, that help serve lunch, to all the people that help bring cattle into the ring and load them out afterwards. We would be lost without their help every year. We hope that everyone can fill their needs with quality cattle at affordable prices. We look forward to seeing you on sale day. 18 Terms And Conditions The information provided within this catalog is deemed to be reliable. This information is provided to assist the buyer in selecting potential sires. The WBCIA places no guarantees on the information herein and WBCIA acts only as an agent in the testing and sale of the bulls. Bidding: Each bull will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters will be final. Terms: Terms of the sale are cash. All settlements are to be made with the clerks of the sale immediately following the conclusion of the sale and before cattle are released from the sale premises. Purchaser s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Health: All bulls in the sale have passed a Breeding Soundness Evaluation and are sold as sound breeders. Announcements: Any changes from information of any kind in this catalog will be announced from the auction box and such announcements shall take precedence. Registration Certificates: A certificate of registry will be transferred to the buyer of each registered bull at no cost to the buyer by the seller if the new owner so desires. Registered bulls are so marked beneath the owner s name and address and above the pedigree information entry in the catalog. Those not registered and therefore not eligible to be transferred are identified as Commercial in a similar location. 1/4 revenue sharing semen interest will be retained by seller in each bull that sells. Buyer will receive ¾ semen interest and full possesion. Breeding Guarantee: All sale bulls will be sold under the standard guarantee of the beef industry (Reference: American Angus Association). All sale bulls are guaranteed breeders by the seller. This guarantee is between the seller and buyer the WBCIA acts only as the agent. This guarantee does not include injury or illness that occurs after the sale. Bulls must be demonstrated by the buyer to be a non-breeder within six months of purchase if any adjustment is to be made. The seller will have a 6 month period to prove the bull a satisfactory breeder before any adjustment is mutually agreed upon by buyer and seller. Rights and Obligations: In the even of default in any part of the terms and conditions covering this sale by either the buyer or seller, it shall be the responsibility of the buyer and seller to initiate any action necessary to bring about a fair settlement of any claims arising from this sale and to be responsible for any and all costs involved therein. The WBCIA, its directors nor any of its staff assumes any responsibility, legal or otherwise, for the failure of either the seller or the buyer to fulfill their obligations.
