4 4/14 WE Directionl spool vlve Function, section The directionl vlve type WE is solenoid ctuted directionl spool vlve. It controls the strt, stop nd direction of flow. The directionl vlve siclly consists of the housing (1), one or two electronic solenoids (2), the control spool (3), nd the return springs (4). In the de-energized condition, the control spool (3) is held in the centrl position or in the initil position y the return springs (4) (except for version "O"). The control spool (3) is ctuted y wet-pin electronic solenoids (2). The force of electronic solenoid (2) cts vi the plunger (5) on the control spool (3) nd pushes the ltter from its rest position to the required end position. This enles the necessry direction of flow from to nd to T or to nd to T "" Type.WE 10 E osch Rexroth G, RE 23327, edition: T When the electronic solenoid (2) is de-energized, the return spring (4) pushes the control spool (3) ck to its rest position. mnul override (6) llows for the mnul switching of the vlve without solenoid energiztion. To ensure proper functioning, mke sure tht the pressure chmer of the solenoid is filled with oil. For dditionl functions, see pge 5. T "" Throttle insert ".." Using throttle insert (7) in chnnels,, or T increses the flow resistnce t the vlve. Its use is required when due to previling operting conditions, flows occur during the switching processes, which exceed the performnce limit of the vlve. 7

5 Function, section Without spring return "O" (only possile with symols, C nd D) This version is directionl vlve with 2 spool positions nd 2 electronic solenoids without detent. The vlve without spring return t the control spool (3) hs no defined sic position in the de-energized condition. Without spring return with "OF" detent (only possile with symols, C nd D) This version is directionl vlve with 2 spool positions nd 2 electronic solenoids with detent. The detents re used to fix the control spool (3) in the relevnt spool position. During opertion, continuous ppliction of current to the electronic solenoid cn therefore e omitted which contriutes to energy-efficient opertion.
