It is used to convert n electricl input signl into proportionl pressure output signl nd is used on ll WRZ... nd 5WRZ... type vlves. he proportionl solenoids re controllle DC wet pin solenoids. hey convert n electricl current proportionlly into mechnicl force. Incresing the current intensity cuses corresponding increse in their solenoid force. he set solenoid force remins constnt over the entire control stroke. he pilot vlve consists siclly of housing (), two pressure mesuring spools (5; 6) nd two proportionl solenoids (; ). In the de-energised condition the control spool () is held in the centre position y the return springs. he control spool () is directly operted y the proportionl solenoids ( or ). 3 Functionl description, section ilot operted proportionl directionl vlve ypes WRZ nd 5WRZ... Vlve types WRZ... re pilot operted -wy vlves operted y mens of proportionl solenoids. hey control the direction nd flow rte of hydrulic fluid. hese vlves consist siclly of the pilot vlve (9) with its two proportionl solenoids ( nd 6), the min vlve () together with the min spool () nd centering spring (5). In the non-operted condition the centering spring (5) holds the min spool () in the centre position. If "" (6) is energised, it moves the control spool () to the right. ilot oil is then either fed "internlly" from line or "externlly" vi port into the pressure chmer () vi the pilot vlve (9) nd moves the min spool () distnce proportionl to the strength of the electric current. he throttling grooves in the min spool () open progressively with incresing current, thus controlling the flow of hydrulic fluid to the ctutor ports. When the solenoid current is switched off the control spool () nd lso the min spool () re returned to their neutrl position, regrdless of the control pressure. n emergency hnd opertor ( nd, optionl) permits movement of the pilot spool () without energising the solenoid.
