It controls the strt, stop nd direction of flow. he directionl vlves siclly consist of the min vlve with housing (1), the min control spool (), one or two return springs (3.1) nd (3.), s well s the pilot control vlve () with one or two solenoids "" (5.1) nd/or "" (5.). he min control spool () in the min vlve is held in the zero or initil position y the springs or y mens of pressuriztion. In the initil position, the two spring chmers () nd () re connected with the tnk in depressurized form vi the pilot control vlve (). he pilot control vlve is supplied with pilot oil vi the control line (7). Supply cn e effected internlly or externlly (externlly vi port ). Upon ctution of the pilot control vlve, e.g. solenoid "", the pilot control spool (10) is moved to the left nd thus, the spring chmer () is pressurized with pilot pressure. he spring chmer () remins depressurized. he pilot pressure cts on the left side of the min control spool () nd moves it ginst the spring (3.1). his connects ports with nd with in the min vlve. When the solenoid is switched off, the pilot control spool returns into the initil position (except for impulse spool). he spring chmer () is unloded to the tnk. he pilot oil from the spring chmer is displced into chnnel vi the pilot control vlve. he pilot oil supply nd return cn e effected internlly or externlly. he mnul override (9) llows control spool (10) to e moved without solenoid energiztion.
