However, delays and cost overruns may be experienced as a result of slow progress in making compensation payments to project affected persons along the Kawanda-Masaka transmission line route. Disbursements under the project are expected to pick up substantially by the end of 2016 as most major contracts are expected to be completed by then. Reallocation of project savings to fund additional activities will also help to improve project disbursement.
