4 age Intrductin he kycm -X cntrl system has been designed t speed up installatin time by being supplied as standard with lms that include all shaft wiring, mtr rm wiring, trailing flex and car wiring. his system nt nly speeds up installatin time thus reducing the dwn time fr the custmer it als cuts dwn n wiring errrs as all lms are tested befre leaving I s factry. his manual utlines the crrect prcedure fr cnnecting and installing these lms. Fr setting the drive up (tractin lifts) see the an-x Fuji drive manual. ystem utline he kycm -X cntrl system is a distributed system. ll I/ devices are lcal t their input r utput, s the landing pushes have an I/ bard munted lcally t them and the data frm them is sent t the -X via a cable (included in the lm). he same lcalisatin f I/ is carried thrugh t the car. he car tp I/ and cnnectins are hused within a custm halfway bx and the I/ fr the is pre-wired and fitted t a din rail t be munted in the back f the. If the r landing push statins are bught frm I these will be pre-wired and pre-addressed and will plug directly int the lm. ystem limitatins tandard shaft and trailing flex lms have been tested fr 3 flrs up t 5 length (with I indicatrs at each flr). Installatins abve these lengths may require special lms, available n request. Fr ease f installatin we recmmend the use f 75mm x 75mm trunking. n I indicatrs are nt catered fr within the lm. If freign indicatrs are t be fitted they have t be hard wired in accrdance with their manufacturer s instructins. larm bell wiring is nt included within the lm as it is nt an 8 requirement. We give the installer cnnectins at the car tp I/ unit and in the cntrl panel fr cnnecting an alarm bell if required. nnectins fr aut diallers r pit / car intercms are nt included in the lm (althugh the spare cres in the trailing flex culd be used). Fixings are nt included within the lm pack, neither are the trailing flex hangers. (these can be supplied seperatley) ystem nmenclature he drawings fr the kycm -X cntrl system are marked int categries fr lectrical and fr eference..g. 8597, 859. lectrical drawings are the as wired drawings. me f these drawings include external equipment fr clarity but are generally hw the cntrl circuit is wired. It is these lectrical drawings that shuld be used fr any fault finding. he drawing verleaf shws hw t identify the different types f drawing.
