The basal diet contains 18mg/, E (V E), : : O : (1949), ( ),,, kg - tocop herol acetate. The result s showed t hat t here was no significant difference in body weight and average daily gain among t he t hree diet s ( P > 0. 05), but t he rate of belly fat decreased significantly ( P < 0. 05),t he qualit y of carcass was im2 p roved in group and. The p H value (48h),t he color of meat (24h) were stabile and t he drop - loss of breast meat was lower in group and, and t he water - loss ratio of t high meat in guoup decreased and t he meat tenderness in group imp roved. The content s of - tocop herol in breast of t he 3 group s were 4. 43, , g/ g respectively, which showed t hat t he content s of - tocop herol in group and were higher t han group ( P < 0. 05). To imp rove meat qualit y, t he optimum supplementation of - tocop herol acetate for L uxi yellow broiler was 50mg/ kg in t he basal diet.
