One of such disturbnces re the discontinuity ines, or d-ines, prboic-ike ine originting from the indenttion where the current density direction chnges brupty. Hodogrph series resuts re obtined for the currents round tringur indenttion nd its corresponding d-ines in conducting stripe of finite width nd in n infinite hf pne, considering two cses: uniform creep exponent nd mixed infinite nd ohmic exponents. The mixed creep exponent cse presents currents distributions resembing the purey ohmic cse, with significnt current disturbnces ony ner the indenttion. For uniform creep exponent, resuts simir to pnr indenttion re obtined, with fr rnged currents fetures nd prboic-ike d-ines with shpes depending on the creep exponent. In prticur, the sme d-ine symptotic behviour is obtined for the tringe indenttion s tht of the pnr defect in the critic stte, resut obtined here just on continuity considertions of the hodogrph expnsions, nd quite simir but not identic to the popur Ben mode. This equivence is due to identic contributions to the Fourier series of the current strem-function in the hodogrph spce obtined from n imges method expnsion. INTRODUCTION Defects hve significnt effects on the eectric properties of type II superconductor. Whie nnoscopic defects serve s pinning centres tht rrest the motion of fux vortices nd void dissiption [1], rger defects crete zones of incresed resistivity tht cn serve s nucetion spots for fux vnches [2, 3]. Border defects such s crcks or voids re ccompnied by ong rnge perturbtions in the current density nd mgnetic fied simir to the Ben mode [4] discontinuity ines, where the current density J turns shrpy. The exct shpe of the ines wi be directy reted to the critic current nd constitutive retionship under extern ppied fieds, such s n extern eectric fied, or n extern mgnetic fied rmp creting induction currents. The resistivity in the fux creep regime [5] cn be modeed s: ρ(j, B, T ) = ρ (J/J c (B, T )) n1, (1) where ρ is the resistivity t J = J c, B the mgnetic fied, T the temperture nd n is the creep exponent. The steep vritions of the resistivity in this regime re so espected to generte thermo-mgnetic instbiities [6, 7]. By tking no mgnetic fied or temperture dependence of J c, expression (1) hs been used by mens of the hodogrph method [8 1] to obtin nytic expressions for the eectric currents round pnr defect, for finite nd infinite creep exponent n. A more bsic mode consists of considering ony the cse n nd to disregrd non-oc effects nd mgnetic fied or temperture depence of the critic current. This eds to the Ben mode [4, 11], in which the mgnetiztion current density of smpe exposed to rmping mgnetic fied is modeed s piece-wise uniform regions, on whose boundries the current cn chnge of direction discontinuousy, trcing the d-ines. From this, prboic d-ines of the form x = y 2 /2h h/2 re obtined for n indenttion of height h on border octed t x =. Here, the ccutions of currents round pnr defect by the hodogrph method [9] re extended to tringur defect. In tht formism the ccuted currents ctuy do not chnge direction in discontinuous wy, however, the d-ine concept is extended to current domin w tht trces ine simir to tht of the Ben s mode, so the d-ine term is so used here. The current strem function is obtined for different creep exponents nd geometries nd finy compred to the Ben mode. STRIPE WITH TRIANGULAR DEFECT A gener sttionry soution method ws deveoped in refs [8 1] for currents in fims with non-iner retionship between the eectric fied E nd the current J of the type E = E (J/ ) n, where E is chrcteristic eectric fied mgnitude nd the corresponding current density nd n 1. In this method the Mxwe equtions for the current strem function ψ re soved in the spce of the current density mgnitude J = ψ nd the nge θ subtended between J nd the x xis, i.e. under the trnsformtion ψ(x, y) ψ(j, θ). It cn be equy ppied for the eectric potenti with φ(x, y) φ(e, θ), where E = φ. In the spce (J, θ), nmey the hodogrph spce, the eectromgnetic equtions become iner nd seprbe when using the power w resistivity, nd cn be soved by eigenfunction expnsions, with gener
2 2 soution: ψ(j, θ) I with ( J = A (B D θ) ) (1n) C θ J m C m sin(mθ φm) J m D m sin(mθ ωm), (2) τ ± m = 1 2 (1 n ± (n 1) 2 4nm 2 ). (3) The boundry conditions for ψ in the hodogrph spce re simpe ony in the cse of smpes with stright borders, in which θ is constnt. Once the soution is found in the hodogrph pne, it cn be trnsformed bck to the x, y spce, i.e. (J, θ) (x, y). By using the compex vribe z = x iy, this trnsformtion is given by: z = F Ceiθ J n eiθ J {ib (n 1) D (1 i(n 1)θ} n e iθ D m 1 τm [m cos(mθ ω m) 1 e iθ iτm sin(mθ ω ] m) C m 1 τ m [m cos(mθ φ m) 1 iτ m sin(mθ φ m) ], (4) The technique hs been ppied to geometries ike corners, bridges, current eds nd pnr defects. In Ref. [9] pnr defect of width 2 perpendicur to the current in n infinite superconductor ws considered. In tht work, the d-ine ws identified s the core of current domin w strting ner the defect. In the imit n it ws found there tht, symptoticy, the d-ine trces curve with x y 2 /1.94, quite simir to the d-ine in the Ben resut tht goes s x = y 2 /2. STRIPE OF FINITE WIDTH Equtions (2) nd (4) re soved for strip crrying tot current I, of width nd with tringur constriction of bse 2 nd height, s depicted in Fig.1(). The soution for the strem function ψ(j, θ) is seprted in 3 hodogrph regions, s shown in Fig.1(b), nmey ψ 1 in region (1) for J, with the mgnitude of J fr from the defect, ψ 2 in region (2) for J, where is the mgnitude of the current density in the border directy opposite to the defect, nd ψ 3 in region (3) for J. The strem function ψ is chosen to be on the right nd I on the eft boundries of the strip. Ony the upper prt y of the smpe is soved, the remining is obtined by symmetry. The prmeters re dependent on D (3) 2, nd those depend t the sme time on r, tht is found numericy by enforcing spce continuity of the soutions. In the imit n the coefficients τ m m 2 nd τm. This grety simpify the strem function ccution. In prticur the hodogrph region (3) nd r = ( )/ due to current conservtion. Then C (2) = 2/m from (12) nd = 2(r()2 1)/m from (9). The current stremines, or the sme the contour or equipotenti ines of the strem function, cn be seen for different n vues in FIG. 2. Those noticby chnge direction round the tringe constriction much fr from the constriction thn in the ohmic cse. The non-oc mgnetic fied H d given by Biot-Svrt s w hs we behved oc minimum round the sme re of current direction chnge, nd s in [2], this minimum ws used here s the d-ines, tht re dispyed in FIG. 3. This pproch is prctic s in mgneto-optic experiments it is the mgnetic fied tht is mesured rther thn the current distribution. The fied H d ws ccuted by Fourier trnsform method [12], nmey, H d = F 1 [kf(ψ)/2], where F is the 2D Fourier trnsform, nd k the wve-vectors ssocited to the domin discretiztion. As it cn be seen in FIG. 3, the d-ines re wys nrrower thn the one corresponding to the Ben cse. This is expected s in stripe it is impossibe to keep constnt current density with constrictions present. Then, if J, > J c, fux fow regime must be considered ner the indenttion, where for finite n the current density J diverges. z 2 z 3 ( ) = i e iθ r e iθ = ( ) r e iθ 4 J eiθ ( J τ 1 iτ sin(θ) ] C (2) τ 1 ( J ) τ 1 [ cos(θ) ) τ 1 [ cos(θ) iτ sin(θ) ], (17) D (3) 2 J 2 1 τ 2 1 [ ( 2) cos(( 2)θ 3 2 ) iτ 2 sin(( 2)θ 3 2 ) ], (18) Fux Fow The previous hodogrph ccution ssumes tht the power w resistivity is vid even for currents bove the current, s in refs. [8 1]. If we consider the fux fow resistnce, then better representtion of the resistivity is given by: ρ = { ρ (J/J c ) n1, J J c ρ, J > J c, (19) Assuming tht = J c for this cse, here it is combined the creep regime for regions with J <, nd ohmic regions for J > using n = 1. The continuity retionships (9), (12) nd (13) sty unmodified. Then by enforcing z 1 = z 2 it gets:

DISCUSSION The tringur defect here studied shres sever properties with the pnr defect nyzed in [9]. In prticur, the current density diverges on the tip of the tringe for finite n due to the existence of the hodogrph region (3), opposed to the critic stte n in which the current density remins finite in tht spot. For the infinite hf pne it cn be verified tht J = t the tringe tip, by evuting z 1 (θ = 3/4 δ, J = ) from eqution (28) with the id of expression (34) for : z 1 = 1 i e i( 3 4 δ) 8 ie i( 3 4 δ) (1)m cos(δ) (1)m sin(δ), (39) And by tking the imit δ it is obtined z 1 = 1, probing tht J = there. In the cse of the critic stte in the stripe, it cn be equy ccuted tht J = t the tip of the tringe, the sme s on the opposite side of the stripe. In fct J = on the ine connecting both points, since J = on both sides of the constriction, nd the current is pssing through zone where the mximum J is, nd therefore r = ( )/. In the hybrid cse for the stripe, most of the current significnty bove psses ner the tringe tip, nd the current density J is very cose to in most of the constriction. Additiony, is so very cose to, s it cn be seen from the r = vue. In the cse of the infinite hf pne with hybrid creep exponents, it is seen tht perturbtions on the currents re ony importnt ner the indenttion, simir to the purey ohmic cse, virtuy disppering t distnces rger thn 1, s it cn be seen in the current stremines in FIG.2(d) nd their d-ines in FIG.4(b). The d- ines for the stripe nd infinite pne so most identic in tht cse, just chnging in their horizont extension. The d-ine in the critic stte for the infinite hf pne trces curve quite cose to the Ben prbo, but identic ctuy to the resut obtined in [9] of x y 2 /1.94 for the pnr defect. In the ppendix 1 it is shown tht both the pnr defect nd tringur indenttion hve ctuy the sme symptotic d-ine. This is done by repcing the expression (34) for, obtined here just from continuity conditions, opposed to the ccution for the pnr defect [9] where is obtined from expnsion of current vortices nd nti-vortices. The sme procedure is so done in the ppendix 1 to obtin pproximte expressions for the nd D(2) 2, tht hve the sme function form nd imit for high n s the pnr defect. A key point of the derivtion is tht the behviour of the currents is miny determined by vortex soution to London eqution in trnsformed hodogrph pne of coordintes η = (1/ n) og(e/e ), θ. Tht vortex is centred in η =, θ = /2, nd is the min contributor to the Fourier expnsions of ψ in both the pnr defect nd in the tringe indenttion. CONCLUSION The hodogrph series method is used to sove the probem of currents circuting in stright stripe of finite width nd n infinite hf pne with tringur border indenttion, showing the non-oc mgnetic fieds produced by those currents. Both cses present simir properties s the pnr defect redy discussed in [9, 1], with diverging currents in the defect tip for finite n, nd bounded current for the critic stte. An hybrid cse of fux-fow nd creep ws so considered, showing the presence of d-ines, but of short rnge. For the tringur defect in the infinite hf pne, the sme symptotic d-ine is obtined s tht of the pnr defect in the critic stte, which is expined here by the simir contribution of vortex currents in modified hodogrph spce η, θ.
