1 Received : Jao :26Pm P8 FROM :CPandCW FAX O. : Jan :33PM P6 GRIFFITH QUARRY DOATIO OF DIAMOD DRILL CORE TO TWEED DRILL CORE LIBRARY August 215 Introduction The Griffith Quarry property lies in the northwestern corner of Griffith Township, Renfrew County, approximately 3 km. north of Denbigh and 45 km. west of Renfrew (UTM 3268 E, 5218, zone 18; TS 3 I F/6). It may be accessed from the west (at about 18.8 krn.) via a forest access road (The Hyland Creek Road) which runs north from Highway 41 at Griffith and loops around the north of the township. The quarry lies within 5 meters of the road and is isolated from all residences other than two hunting camps. A contiguous group of 8 mining claims presently covers the property, three of which have been taken to lease (E59372, E and E67354). As Griffith is an unsurveyed township, all claim lines run north-south and east-west. The property is listed in the name of Dacre Industrial Minerals Inc. and Bertus Industrial Ltd. These companies are jointly undertaking exploration of a dolomitic marble unit on these claims and leases. Diamond Drilling A total of approximately 1,9 feet of diamond drill core (BQ) has been donated to the Tweed Drill Core Library by Dacre Industrial Minerals Inc. and Bertus Industrial Ltd. Drilling in September 22: 4 drill holes, for a total of approximately 73 feet, producing 37 boxes of core. Drilling in October 26: 8 drill holes, for a total of approximately feet, producing 64 boxes of core. The core has been stored, undercover, in a warehouse in Eganville, Ontario. The overall operation to assemble the core and deliver it (by truck) to the Tweed Drill Core Library, took three days in August 215.
