3 LEGEND ARCTIC RED RESOURCES CORP. 12 DIABASE DYKES 11 (LATE) FELSIC DYKES AND SILLS 11A PEGMATITE 11B GRANITE 11C GRANODIORITE 10 MAFIC SILLS AND DYKES IDA MAFIC SILLS AND DYKES: Fine grained, massive to moderately schistose chlorite rich sills and occasional dykes. Some contain calcite. All show sharp unchilled contacts. 10B AMPHIBOLITE DYKES: Coarse grained, rather massive dark green amphibole and chlorite rich dykes and occasional sills. 9 PORPHYRY SILLS AND DYKES 9A INEQUIGRANULAR FELDSPAR PORPHYRY: 10 to 301 coarse feldspar porphyroblasts (up to 1 cm) set in a fine grained, uniform, massive, weakly magnetic, biotite, chlorite, feldspar-quartz rich groundmass. 9B QUARTZ FELDSPAR PORPHYRIES: Medium to coarse grained sills. Light grey to rather dark grey-green matrix. Feldspar and quartz phenocrysts account for up to 40% of the unit. Contacts show no chill margins and are generally very sharp. 9C PSEUDOPORPHYRIES: Vague dark grey, weakly porphyritic, fine grained groundmass with 5 to 20% silicate phenocrysts which possess a perfect cleavage. 8 KETAVOLCANICS AND METASEDIMENTS 8A 6B 8C 8D 8E Interbedded amphibole-rich flows and tuffs. Massive quartz-biotite-feldspar unit with grain size ^0.5 mm. Unit is foliated and exhibits gross bedding features on weathered surfaces. Massive quartz-biotite-feldspar unit as above but coarser with minerals ^2 mm. Unit generally occurs as interbeds in 8A. A quartz-biotite-feldspar unit with interbands O O cm of white quartz-feldspar+minor mafics. i Similar to 8D but bands are ^0 cm thick.

At 71,3 m, hole off 3 degrees, terminated and recol tared 6' to the northwest on Mar 6/ Casing BA - Dark green, silicified amphibolite. Intermixed flows and tuffs with flows predominating. Banding end foliation Is erratic, but generally at 50* to core axis. Unit has patches of blotlte/garnet and jox calcite bands end ^OJ megnevlc pyrrhotite occurring as blebs and disseminations. Trace pyrite. The pyrrhotite Is responsible for the mag high and the gossan at the granite contact C Massive, medium gray granodiorite with 5-10f biotite, *20J quartz and 75* feldspar/plagloclase dominant. The unit has a slight porphyritic appearance with O? phenocrysts. It Is not like unit 9B of Corona - It Is more massive and equigranular. The unit l^cks a strong foliation.
