8
9 No HABs were found from July 24th through September 13th. From 9/14 thru 10/10/2017, over 60 shoreline blooms were reported. Additionally, there were several visual reports of HABs in mid-lake locations. 51 samples were collected and analyzed. 50 samples had laboratory confirmed HABs above State threshold of concern. 22 samples contained levels of microsystin (toxin) above State/EPA threshold of concern for recreational waters. 21 samples contained measureable amounts of anatoxin. No cylindrospermopsin was detected in any sample. All samples are currently being tested for BMAA (beta-methyl-amino-alanine).
