1 Arrangement on Trade in Agricultural Products between Egypt and Switzerland ARTICLE. This Arrangement between Egypt and Switzerland on trade in agricultural products is concluded pursuant to the Free Trade Agreement between Egypt and the EFTA Stes of 007 (hereinafter referred to as "the Free Trade Agreement"), and in particular Article thereof. It forms part of the instruments establishing a free trade area between the EFTA Stes and Egypt.. This Arrangement shall likewise apply to the Principality of Liechtenstein as long as the Customs Union Trey of 9 March 9 between Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein remains in force. ARTICLE Egypt shall grant tariff concessions to agricultural products origining in Switzerland as specified in Annex to this Arrangement. Switzerland shall grant tariff concessions to agricultural products origining in Egypt as specified in Annex to this Arrangement. ARTICLE The following provisions of the Free Trade Agreement shall apply, mutis mutandis, to this Arrangement: Articles 5 (Rules of origin and co-operion in customs administrion), 9 (Quantitive restrictions and measures having equivalent effect, 0 (Customs duties and quantitive restrictions on exports), (Internal taxion), (Payments and transfers), 5 (Ste trading enterprises) and (General exceptions) of Chapter Trade in Goods. ARTICLE The Parties confirm their rights and obligions under the Agreement on Agriculture. ARTICLE 5 The rights and obligions of the Parties in respect of sanitary and phytosanitary measures shall be governed by the Agreement on Applicion of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures.
2 - - ARTICLE 6. The Parties undertake to continue their efforts with a view to achieving further liberalizion of their agricultural trade, within the framework of their respective agricultural policies.. The first review shall take place no ler than four years after the entry into force of this Agreement, with further reviews to be determined the first review. ARTICLE 7 This Arrangement shall enter into force on the same de as the Free Trade Agreement enters into force between Egypt and Switzerland. It shall remain in force as long as the Parties to it remain Parties to the Free Trade Agreement between Egypt and the EFTA Stes. ARTICLE 8 If Switzerland or Egypt withdraws from this Arrangement, the Free Trade Agreement shall termine between them on the same de as the withdrawal from this Arrangement becomes effective. ARTICLE 9 The Annexes to this Arrangement constitute an integral part of it. IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned, being duly authorised thereto, have signed this Arrangement. Done Davos, this 7 th day of January 007 in two originals in the Arabic and English languages, both being equally authentic.
