1 Quilt N Paint News Creative Hands Quilt Shop and Decorative Painting Store 1907 W Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO (816) May 2015 A Note from Sheryll All, I am so glad April is over; I do not think I stopped once the whole month! We had 2 awesome shows and were able to be a vendor at a retreat! I would like to thank everyone for supporting us! Most of you know I have Multiple Myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells). I had to have treatment in the Fall of 2012 and have been doing okay since then, however one of my numbers is up so I am looking at starting chemo again in the next couple of weeks. I went this week for a bone marrow biopsy & a full Musculoskeletal survey, and will meet with my Oncologist on May 6 th to discuss treatment plans. The reason that I am telling you all of this is that I would like to ask that you let me know if you are sick before you come in so that I can put on a mask! I appreciate you doing this for me! Being able to see all of you each day will help me get through all of this and this will help ensure that I get to stay at the shop! Check out what is new! Land of the Free by Northcott Inside this issue: Word Search 2 Calendar 3 Clubs & Groups 5 Upcoming Classes 4 Quilting Tips 5 Painting Tips 5. And Vintage Garden by Wilmington Prints Store Hours: Sunday: Closed Monday: Closed Tuesday through Friday 10-5 Saturday 10-3 If you need me to stay late all you have to do is call and let me know! Don t forget to check out the sales on the last page of the newsletter! Happy quilting & painting! Sheryll 1

Transfer mixture to a decorating bag fitted with a large star tip. Line a baking sheet waxed paper. Pipe 4x1-inch logs onto prepared baking sheet. 3. Mexican Chocolate Dipping Sauce 1. in a heavy small saucepan combine semisweet chocolate pieces, butter, ground pasilla or ancho chile pepper (if desired), and cinnamon; cook and stir over medium heat until chocolate is melted. Stir in the granulated sugar; gradually add evaporated milk, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently over low heat for 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Serve warm sauce with warm churros. 2
