3 SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS The ground geophysical program has successfully located and defined a number of anomalies. Three VLF-EM anomalies are recommended for additional ground follow up. The magnetic survey outlined two diabase dykes and a band of magnetite rich mafic volcanics cut by a fault. The ground geophysical program should greatly aid during geological mapping and assist in stratigraphic correlation of the project area. The following recommendation is made for the project area: 1) A detailed geological survey should be conducted concurrent with intensive prospecting. GUY THIBAULT EXPLORATION SERVICES

4 INTRODUCTION During the period January through February 1988, a combined Very Low Frequency Electromagnetic (VLF-EM) and magnetic survey was carried out over the Plum Resources Limited property in Williamson Township, Ontario. The purpose of the VLF-EM survey was to detect, on the ground, zones of conductivity which may be produced by conductive minerals and/or zones of shearing and faulting. The magnetic survey was performed to determine if any magnetic correlation exists with apparent conductivity and to aid in stratigraphic correlation. LOCATION AND ACCESS The Williamson Township property is located in northwest Williamson township, Porcupine Mining Division, District of Cochrane, Ontario. The property occupies Lots 23, 24, and 25, Concession X, Williamson township. The property lies approximately 160 km. northwest of Timmins (Figure 1) and 20 km northwest of Kapuskasing, Ontario. Access to the property is off Highway 11 from Harty, approximately 5 km by bush road and trail to the southwest of the property. GUY THIBAULT EXPLORATION SERVICES

6 PROPERTY The Plum Resources Williamson township property consists of 6 contiguous, unpatented mining claims in Williamson township covering Lots 23, 24 and 25, Concession X. The survey covered in whole all 6 claims. The following claims were covered in whole by the combined surveys: P inclusive 6 claims PREVIOUS WORK Previous work on the property is very limited. The only reported work on the claims is by Shell Canada Resources Ltd. In 1978 Shell Canada conducted magnetic and electromagnetic (HLEM) surveys on their property which consisted of the 3 northern claims of Plum Resources plus another row of three to the north. The work detected 2 very weak electromagnetic anomalies. No follow up was recommended and none is recorded. GEOLOGY The property lies within a complex belt of metasediments and metavolcanic rocks. The rocks are metamorphosed to upper amphibolite grade. The property lies within a gneissic complex where the rocks have been locally migmatised and original textures and lithologies are masked. 9 LINECUTTING During the early part of February, 1988, a total of 14.4 kilometres of line were cut on the property. The base line was cut at az 090.(E-W) with section lines every 100 metres off the base line. Picket stations were established every 25 metres on both section lines and base line. SURVEY EQUIPMENT AND PROCEDURES The Very Low Frequency-Electromagnetic (VLF-EM) survey was carred out using a Geonics EM16, operating at a frequency of 24.0 khz utilizing the Cutler, Maine (NAA) transmission station. Readings of both In Phase (IP) and Quadrature (OP) were taken every 25 metres, with an accuracy of J.% on both. A total of 12.8 km of line were surveyed during February The data is presented as profiles on the VLF-EM plan map Figure 3, and as Fraser Filtered contours Figure 5. The Magnetic survey was conducted with a Geometrics G- 816 total field magnetometer. Readings were taken every 25 metres along section lines and base line. The intersection of the section lines on the base line served as base stations so that diurnal drift could be monitored. This method allows readings to be taken and corrected with an accuracy of one gamma. GUY THIBAULT EXPLORATION SERVICES

10 A total of 14.4 kilometres of line were surveyed during February DISCUSSION OF RESULTS The VLF-EM survey detected many anomalies. Most of them, however, are rated as likely not due to bedrock source. Three anomalies were located which were deemed to be of likely bedrock source. Anomaly A - A short strike length, l line, anomaly of apparent high conductivity and near surface. It flanks a zone of high magnetics and therefore probably lies at or near a geological contact. This anomaly is recommended for further follow up, likely prospecting and geological survey. Anomaly B - This anomaly of moderate conductivity lies in the middle of the lake. Prospecting and geological mapping of the shoreline may aid in anomaly discrimination but likely drilling will be necessary to determine the source of the anomaly. Anomaly C - This anomaly of a short strike length ( 2 lines) and moderate conductivity lies within a zone of flat, low magnetics.
