4 IPSC - Mission Statement IPSC provides research-based, systems-oriented support to EU policies. The policy areas covered are mainly in the area of security, crisis management, anti-fraud, risk, maritime affairs and nuclear safeguards. Our objectives are in particular to support the development of a European area of Freedom, Security and Justice, and to contribute to the development of Global Stability and Security. Page 4
