Early successes include drafting of a draft Water Resources Law for submission to the National Assembly of Lao PDR and inventory analysis of irrigation and flood gates with physical investment starting soon. There has been good progress toward hiring key technical assistance consultants who should mobilize in the last quarter of Their work should allow project implementation to accelerate in Page 1 of 6
