Emphasis is given to understanding the nature of a function, its domain and range and specific function families: Linear, Exponential, Power, Inverse and Periodic. Techniques, such as graphing, symbolic manipulation, and matrices, for solving a variety of equations and inequalities will be covered. Other topics introduced are probability and statistics, trigonometry, conic sections, sequences and series, logarithms and complex numbers with attention to real world applications.
