2 Goals of the workshop: - To develop scientific rationales, goals, and justification for scientific drilling in the Chad Basin - To develop a structure for the CHADRILL Project, including the science team and disciplines to be covered, logistical plans, international funding structures, industrial partnerships, and education and outreach - To discuss needs for additional site survey information in light of the existing datasets required prior to deep drilling
