2 SUMPlARY A total of 25.4G'm of drilling was carried out on the J.G. Claim. The two drill holes were drilled to test and sample a pyrrhotite rich shear zone exposed on surface. Hole 84-1 failed to intersect the zone and cut variably sheared, foliated diorite Hole 84-2 drilled to a depth of 4-73 m, cut a siliceous breccia and a PYrrotite rich zone before the hole was lost. Assays on both cores showed low base and precious metal values, below economic interest. Some prospecting is warranted to define the sulphide shear zone in greater detail.

4 1 1. GENERAL 1.1 Locat ion The J.G. claim group is located in the Kamloops Mining Division (N&S 82L.1516). It is located 21 kms southwest of the conmunity of Idestwold. (Fig. 1). 1.2 Access Access to the property is from the Stump Lake- Westwold road. Within the property, access is excellent, with a network of old and new logging roads. 1.3 Topography The property lies at an elevation from 1100 rn to 1250 in A.S.L. The area is covered with mixed mature and sub mature timber. Relief is moderate. The area exhibits a number of kame terraces and esker features that effectively obscure outcrop. Incised drainages in the glacial cover provide the only area of outcrop.

7 4 1. GENERAL (Cont... ) 1.4 Claim Status The property comprises 6 units owned by H. Adams. (Fig. 2) JG A (1) 8th January 1980 Owner: H. Adams Box 1329 Princeton, B.C. 1.5 Previous Work Evidence exists of intermittent prospecting, in the area, largely restricted to the drainage bottoms, or rare, scattered exposures on drainage slopes. The only evidence of previous work is in the area drilled in the current programme. A small pit exposed a pyrrhotite bearing shear zone. A small shaft (now inaccessible) had been excavated to test this showing at depth, but no results are known, or even the date of work (1930's?).

8 5 2. DRILL PROGRAMME 2.1 Ob j ec t ives The objectives of the owner were to test the strike and dip extensions of the surface vein, as well as ascertain its precious metal potential. Two holes, totalling m were drilled in April 1984, using BQ core. (Fig. 3) 2.2 Geology The area of the showing (Fig. 4 ) has sparse rock outcrop. The showing lies near a.creek floor, incised into kame terrace overburden, at least 30 m thick. This creek bed exhibits a streaky, foliated quartz 0 0 diorite with the foliation striking 340, 80 E. Surface outcrops show cross fracturing and surface oxidation. The showing comprises an exposure of at least 4 m on strike of deformed quartz diorite carrying lenses stringers and pods of pyrrhotite. Width of the zone on surface is 1 m. Some 15 m to the north of the showing is an old shaft (now inaccessible). No evidence of sulphides is present in the.dump material (Fig. 4 )

11 8 2. DRILL PROGRAMME 2.3 Drill Hole 84-1 :., i....:_ This hole was drilled to a depth of m at -60, bearing 045'. The greater part of the hole (Fig. 5) comprised streaky diorite with the foliation cut by secondary chlorite stringers. Several broken zones were encountered from 12.2 m to m. These appear to reflect a cross break. The latter part of the hole, from m to m, encountered an irregularly altered zone with manganite coated fractures with traces of pyrite. The latter part of the core was broken from 20.0 to m, a probable fault..~ 2.4 Drill Hole This hole was drilled to 4.73 m at -65, on a bearing 0 of 090 (T). The hole was cased to a depth of 1.22 m (Fig. 6). From 1.22 to 1.98 m, the hole intersected a siliceous breccia with disseminated pyrrhotite and irregular porhyroblasts of pyrite. From 1.98 m to 4.73 m, the hole cut a pyrrhotite rich zone, with a strong (30% PO) zone from 1.9 to 3.05 m. The sulphide percentage diminished from 3.05 rn to 4.73 m. Traces of chalcopyrite and sphalerite are present. The hole was lost at 4.73 m.

12 9 2. DRILL PROGRAMME (Cont... ) 2.5 Assay Data Split core from the two holes was analysed by Min-En Labs, North Vancouver. The samples were analysed for 26 elements, using the ICP technique. Samples from hole #1 all ran low gold, copper and silver values. Samples from hole 112, ran low gold values but higher copper values (478 ppm to 947 ppm). No other significant element associations were present except for high vanadium (146 ppm) in sample # The data does not suggest any economic potential to the JG showing. 2.6 Svnt he s is The limited drill programme has shown a lack of values of economic interest in the sulphide zone. The zone, on the basis of the drilling, appears to be offset by a shear zone, The drilling failed to determine adequately the control of the sulphide zone.....

16 13 3. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS 1) A limited drill programme was carried out on the JG showing. The drilling totalled m of BQ core... 2) The drilling was designed to test the potential of a pyrrhotite rich shear zone in a partly foliated quartz diorite. 3) The drill data suggests that the sulphide zone is broken by a cross fault. The drilling did not fully test the showing. Assay data shows, at the locality sampled, that the economic potential is ' limited. 4) What is required is careful prospecting and ground geophysics (VLF and mag) to determine the distriof the shear zone, foll.owed by pitting to the continuations. 1 R. CANADA GOLD GEOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS BY MIN-EN LABORATORIES LTD. Geochemical samples for Gold processed by Min-En Laboratories Ltd., at 705 W. 15th St., North Vancouver Laboratory employing the following procedures. AfterL. drying the samples at 9-5OC soil and stream sediment samples ar.e screened by 80 mesh sieve to obtain the minus 80 mesh fraction for analysis. The rock samples are crushed and pulverized by ceramic plated pulverizer. A suitable sample weight 5.0 or 10.0 grams are pretreated.aith HN03 and HC104 mixture. After pretreatments the samples are digested with Aqua Regia solution, and after digestion the samples are taker, up with 25% HC1 to suitable. volume. A t this stage of the procedure copper, silver and zinc can be analysed from suitable aliquote by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric procedure. Further oxidation and treatment of at least 75% of the original sample solutions are made suitable for extraction of gold with Methyl Iso-Butyl Ketone. With a set of suitable standard solution gold is analysed by Atomic Absorption instruments. The obtained detection l i m i t is 0.01 ppm (10 ppb).
