1 International workshop on New Observations on the Deep Structure beneath the Alps-Anatolia-Iran Regions 28-30, May, 2014 Beijing 2nd Announcement Major itinerary plan State Kay Laboratory of Lithospheric Evolution (SKL- LE), Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS), is proud to announce that we are ready to host the 1st international workshop on New Observations on the Deep Structure beneath the Alps- Anatolia- Iran Regions in the best season of Beijing. This workshop includes two parts. The open talks will be presented on May 28 to 29 in the Conference Mall of IGGCAS (Figures 1 and 2), while the small- table discussions will be on May 30. In the open part of the workshop, scientists from China, France, Italy and Iran will give 17 talks from the point of view of geology, geophysics and geochemistry. While in the part of small- table discussion, scientists will split into several groups for deep diving of seismic observations in the Alps, Anatolia and Iran Regions, respectively. Language All of the oral talks will be presented in English. Register State Kay Laboratory of Lithospheric Evolution will sponsor this workshop. NO registering fee is charged, but registering will be done on May 27 in Beijing Grand Hotel for visiting scholarships. Date Time Plan 2014/5/27 Evening 18:30-20:00 Registering and Ice break in Beijing Grand Hotel
