Due to the design of the vlve spool nd solenoid, shocks which occur during switching the vlve on or off re gretly reduced. he switching shocks, mesured s n ccelertion vlue "" in ft/s (m/s ), re reduced y up to pprox. 85 %, dependent on the spool model, when compred to stndrd vlve (see r chrt on pge 5). Essentilly the directionl control vlves consist of housing (1), one or two solenoids (), the control spool (3), nd one or two return springs (). In the de-energized condition the control spool (3) is held in the neutrl or initil position y mens of return springs () (except for impulse spool). he control spool (3) is operted y wet pin solenoids (). o gurntee stisfctory opertion, cre should e tken to ensure tht the solenoid pressure chmer is filled with oil. he force of the solenoid ( ) cts vi the plunger (5) on the control spool (3) nd pushes this from its neutrl position to the required end position. his gives free-flow from to nd to or to nd to.
