4 Generl dt Alictions The DNM, DNP rnge of end-suction ums re designed for wide rnge of lictions, including wter suly, boosting, circultion of wter in heting nd ir-conditioning systems, nd liquid trnsfer lictions in industry, etc. Oerting conditions Pumed liquids Clen, thin, non-ggressive, non-elosive liquids not contining solid rticles, fibres or minerl oil. T wter Coolnts without minerl oils. When uming liquids with kinemtic viscosities bigger thn mm /s, new motor size should be clculted. When uming liquids with densities bigger thn tht of wter, use motor with corresondingly bigger outut. Progrm The DNM, DNP roduct rnge consists of 9 vrints bsed on um tyes with ccity of -1 m /h nd hed to m. Liquid temerture: 1 C to + 1 C M. oerting ressure: 1 br M. ermissible oerting ressure = ctul inlet ressure + ressure ginst closed vlve (Q=) Pum flnge sizes ccording to EN 19-, PN 1. Clcultion of min. inlet ressure The minimum inlet ressure "" in mwc, which is required in order to void cvittion in the um, cn be clculted in the following wy: = b 1. f v s b = Brometric ressure in br. 6 Generl dt Construction The DNM, DNP ums re single-stge centrifugl ums with il suction ort nd rdil dischrge ort. Nominl duty oints nd min dimensions re in ccordnce with DIN. The um is directly couled with totlly enclosed fn-cooled stndrd motor with min dimensions to IEC nd DIN stndrds. The mechnicl shft sel hs dimensions ccording to DIN 9. The bck ull-out design enbles removl nd dismntling of the motor nd imeller without disturbnce of the um housing or iework. Consequently even the lrgest ums cn be serviced by single erson. Imeller The stinless steel imeller hs double-curved bldes with smooth surfces. This ensures high efficiency. The Grundfos MG nd MMG stndrd motors re totlly enclosed fn-cooled squirrel-cge motors which dimensionlly comly with IEC nd DIN. Mounting designtion: IM 11 (IM V1) nd IM 1 (IM ) Enclosure Clss: IP. Insultion Clss: F ccording to IEC. Mimum Ambient Temerture: + C tndrd voltges: - u to 1. kw: / V - from. kw: -1 V Protection The motor must be connected to n effective motor strter in ccordnce with locl regultions. The mere scle of the overlod unit of the motor strter should cover rnge of which the mimum vlue is t lest 1.1 times the motor full lod current. Three-hse motors, tye MG nd MMG u to nd including kw re sulied with built-in therml switch, TP111. ervice The um re very simle to service. The um hed (motor, motor stool nd imeller) cn be removed without disturbing the connections to the um housing (bck-ull-out design). Instlltion The um should never be instlled with the motor ointing downwrds. If the um hs been instlled with the terminl bo ointing downwrds, turn the motor to the required osition. Pums fitted with motors u to nd including 7. kw re sulied with brckets. Pums fitted with motors lrger thn 7. kw re sulied with feet/rils. Dimensions of brcket/foot/rils er from the sketches.
