The directionl vlves siclly comprise of the housing (, one or two solenoids (2), the control spool (), s well s one or two return springs (). In the de-energised condition the control spool () is held in the neutrl or initil position y mens of the return springs () (with the exception of impulse spools). The control spool () is ctuted y wet pin solenoids (2). To gurntee stisfctory opertion, cre should e tken to ensure tht the solenoid pressure chmer is filled with oil. The force of the solenoid (2) cts vi the plunger (5) on the control spool () nd pushes this from its neutrl position into the required end position. Thus the required flow direction of P to nd to T or P to nd to T is chieved. When solenoid (2) is de-energised, the control spool () is returned to its neutrl position y mens of return springs (). hnd override (), optionl, llows movement of the control spool () without energising the solenoid. Type WE..X/OFS... (impulse spool, only possile with symol D) This version is directionl vlve with 2 switched positions, 2 solenoids nd detent. Thus the relevnt switched positions re lterntivly fixed nd continuous energistion of the solenoid is unnecessry. Note: Pressure peks in the tnk line to two or more vlves cn, with vlves with detents, led to unintended spool movements!
