2 R 9 88/.98 Description of unction, Section roportional flow control valves Model RE are -way valves. They allow a preset electrical signal to control an oil flow independent of pressure and temperature variation. The assembly consists of a housing (), a proportional solenoid with inductive positional transducer (), measuring orifice (), pressure compensator () and check valve (), if required. roportional flow control valves Model RE -X/...KRV (without external piloted closing with check valve) roportional flow control valves Model RE are -way valves. They allow a preset electrical signal to control an oil flow independent of pressure and temperature variation. The assembly consists of a housing (), a proportional solenoid with inductive positional transducer (), measuring orifice (), pressure compensator () and non-return valve (), if required. The oil flow required is set using a potentiometer (... %), which in turn gives an input value to amplifier type VT. This in turn controls the orifice () via the proportional solenoid. The position of the orifice () is determined by the inductive positional transducer, and any difference from the given input value is then corrected by the control system. The pressure drop across the measuring orifice () is held constant by the pressure compensator (). The oil flow is therefore independent of load. The low temperature drift is achieved by suitable design of the measuring orifice. t an input level of % the measuring orifice is closed. The pressure before directional valve (8) is fed via external port () to the pressure compensator (), and holds this against the force of the spring (9) in the closed position. When the directional valve (8) is switched from to, the pressure compensator () moves from the closed position to the regulating position, and the starting jump is therefore avoided.
