4 VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS 2012/2015 (up to April 30th) : Issuance of 204 operational VAA/VAG (138 for Mt Etna, 50 for Fogo, 8 for Stromboli, 3 for Piton de la Fournaise, 2 for Calbuco, 1 for Nabro, 1 for Nyiragongo, 1 for Heard,). ETNA : Mainly weak or moderate activity between January and June 2012 with 10 eruptions among witch 4 significant eruptions (TOP of VA cloud estimated above FL250/300). In 2013 regular activity all year long with 32 active episodes among which 6 significant eruptions In 2014, mostly, short, and weak/moderate activity mainly SO2 productive. In 2014 the major part of the activity occured between January and August -. In 2014 and 2015 so far less than twenty feeble/moderate eruptions without significant VA cloud.
5 VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS 2012/2015 (up to April 30th) : FOGO : continuous activity from 23/11 to 04/12/2014 with plume mainly composed of SO2. Ash fallout reported in the close vicinity of the volcano. VA not discernible except for a couple of pixel on the volcano spot. STROMBOLI : moderate activity between August and October PITON (2014/2015): lava flow without significant ash emission in the atmosphere CALBUCO : handover 28/04 with only SO2 expected over Toulouse AoR HEARD (2013)/ NABRO (Jan 2012) : VAA/VAG based on a PIREP no VA discernible NYIRAGONGO (01/11/2012): plume mainly composed of SO2 (suspicion of ash) BARDARBUNGA
