Indoor WAP b. Outdoor WAP c. Directional Antenna A1: As noted during the Bid conference, wireless access points and brackets shall be provided by owner and installed by contractor. Selected contractor shall confirm make and model prior to installation. Current design provision Cisco Aironet 3802I. Q2: During the prebid meeting there was a brief discussion regarding the WAP installation environment and cable pathways where the Director mentioned that most of the WAPs and cables would be installed in drop ceilings much like the one in the prebid meeting room. Given the number of buildings and different environments (auditoriums, gymnasiums, greenhouses, etc.) can you provide the percentage or number of WAPs that will not be installed in drop ceiling environments for: a. Saddleback b. IVC A2: Contractor shall confirm in field prior to commencing work, counts are approximate: a. Saddleback 62% Tbar ceiling, 28% hard cap ceiling b. IVC 80% Tbar ceiling, 20% hard cap ceiling Q3: Are there any locations that will require hoisting/lifting equipment, other than ladders, such as a scissor lift? A3: It is possible. Contractor shall plan accordingly. Q4: How many of the WAPs are being mounted on rooftops? a. Saddleback b. IVC A4: a. Saddleback: Refer to Attachment D and E for exact count and location. b. IVC: None Q5: Are there existing cable pathways/conduits from all new WAPs to their corresponding IDF?
