2 Why place matters To get a resilient Wales we need to maximise the benefit we get from any land management action: Need to understand how our environment works to give us the important services we need. Understand where it is best to put nature-based solutions to maximise: their value for green growth, resource efficiency, environmental resilience, improving community and individual wellbeing

21 Conclusion The frameworks have been created so that anyone with a GIS tool can use the approach as it can be adopted by users of various packages and levels of expertise The framework and examples allow usage by a wide spectrum of people, not everyone can or will want to do everything. This work builds capacity and understanding The flow charts and evidence base ensure the theory and methods are transparent and adaptable into the future The methods can be used for scenario modelling and for economic evaluation. Success for this project would be for a variety of stakeholders to take up a more spatially orientated decision making.
