4 North Waziristan Agency (NWA) Displacement PDMA Khyber Pakhtukhwa Updates as of Esaar-e-Pakhtunkhwa Program Under the Esaar-e-Pakhtunkhwa Program, as of 15th August 2014 at 01:00 PM, 45,255 families of NWA have received their Cash payment of 1st Rs. 8,000/- successfully. A total of Rs Million have been disbursed so far. Under the Esaar-e-Pakhtunkhwa Program, all the registered verified families of NWA will be provided with Rs. 23,000/. (Ramadan Package Rs.5, 000, Rs. 3,000/- monthly house rent). 6 Monsoon Updates-2014 Heavy rains leave 16 dead, 80 injured in District Peshawar, KP Severe hail storms and heavy rains hit various parts of the Peshawar on Friday evening 15 th Aug, caused severe losses and damages, reported by media. 16 people reported dead and more than 80 others are injured as roofs and walls of building collapsed due to heavy rain. Shortly after reports of deaths, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced compensation of Rs. 300,000 to the family members of each of the deceased and Rs, 100,000 to each injured person. Nawaz also directed the National Disaster Management Authority to assess the losses of people affected by rain in Peshawar and help in their rehabilitation. Chief minister Khyber Paktunkawa Pervaiz Khattak has also announced a compensation of Rs three lakh each for those who had lost their lives in the rains while Rs, 50,000 would be given to the injured.
