1 Postseason Tournaments The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men s Basketball Championship makes a return appearance in Kansas City in 2008 but will be played in a different venue, as the brand new Sprint Center will serve as the host venue for the championship which will run March The four-day, 11-game event was last held in KC for the 2005 championship. Last year, the event was held for the first time at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. The American Airlines Center in Dallas has also hosted the event three times in the past five years. Four teams have combined to win the 11 Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament championships. Kansas leads the way with five titles while Oklahoma has recorded three championship victories. Oklahoma State has also earned two tittles and Iowa State one.
