Natural hazards Based on its scientific and technical expertise, Terranum carries out complete consulting works in the field of natural hazard, from regional detection to site-specific modelling, with : Regional susceptibility mapping Detailed field investigations Advanced GIS processing Monitoring and change detection using LiDAR, InSAR, GPS or geotechnical instrumentation Pre-failure landslide conceptual modelling Slope stability and Safety-Factor assessment 2D and 3D runout modelling Hazard mapping Quantitative risk assessment and management More

Geology and hydrology With skilled engineering geologists and hydrological engineers, Terranum provides scientific and technical expertise in geology, hydrology and meteorology on various topics : Quaternary geology mapping Structural geology at local and regional scales Records and interpretation of cuttings and cores GIS mapping and advanced processing Rainfall and water table monitoring Static flood and water runoff modelling Statistical precipitation forecasting Optimization of the analogue method More

3D measurement Thanks to their scientific and technical skills on 3D measurements, Terranum can carry out acquisitions, processing and interpretation of LiDAR and photogrammetric 3D point clouds, especially for : Terrestrial and mobile LiDAR Photogrammetry 3D topography imaging Point cloud quality assessment Structural and engineering geological analyses Rockfall detection and quantification Landslide displacement and slope deformation monitoring InSAR (spaceborne or terrestrial) coupling Cavity deformation monitoring Infrastructure surveying More

Software development With years of experience in software development for the geoscience community, with for example Coltop3D, Flow-R or AtmoSwing, Terranum is able to provide specific solutions tailored to your needs. Examples of possible applications are : Hydrological models Hydro-meteorological time series management Multi-criteria Early Warning Systems WebGIS platforms GIS-based software More

Products

Coltop3D Flow-R AtmoSwing LiDAR and 3D point cloud analysis software. It is designed for the interactive analysis of geological structures from high resolution 3D point clouds and digital elevation models at local and regional scale. Empirical model for regional susceptibility assessments of debris flows and others gravitational hazards. It allows for automatic source area delineation and for the assessment of the propagation extent. Real-time precipitation forecasting based on a downscaling method, the analogue technique. This method is used for hydro-meteorological forecasting in the framework of real-time flood management or electricity production. More More More
