2 Implementation Status and Key Decisions Project Implementation continues progressing well. Overall, the Project in on track to achieving its Development Objectives. A total of 51 sub-loan agreements have been signed with eligible municipalities so far, and 33 sub-projects financed under Component A (Municipal Investments) have been completed to date. Progress has also been made under the Component C (Performance-based Investment Grants). 19 municipalities submitted applications to access funds. Six performance grants agreements have been signed, and four grant activities have already been successfully completed. Some of the accomplishments to date include: (i) more than 11,000 households with new water connections; (ii) about 240,000 people with access to regular solid waste collection; and (iii) all participating municipalities/utilities publish data on their websites.
