1 1. The particulars of its organisation, functions and duties. Central Bureau of Health Intelligence (CBHI) is the National Nodal Agency for Health Intelligence in the ate General of Health Services (Dte.GHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. CBHI also functions as Collaborating Centre (CC) for World Health Organization, Family of International Classification (WHO-FIC) in India & South East Asia Region (SEAR) countries. CBHI is committed to build an integrated health informatics platform which can provide reliable, accurate, and relevant national health information and enable evidence based policy formulation and decision making. Vision-Central Bureau of Health Intelligence (CBHI), established in 1961 under the ate General of Health Services (Dte.G.H.S.) with the vision to have A strong Health Management Information System (HMIS) in entire country. Mission- To strengthen Health Information System (HIS) in each of the district in the country up to the facility level for evidence based decision making in the Health Sector. The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions. As per Govt. of India rules and regulations and Instructions 6. A statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or under its control. CBHI has been regularly bringing out its Annual Publication National Health Profile (NHP) every year since NHP covers all the major information on demography, socio-economic and health indicators including morbidity and mortality trends, human resources for health, health- care infrastructure, health finances and all other related information. The publications held by CBHI are accessible at the following link There are different types of forms available with CBHI for reporting purposes which are accessible at 7. As and when required, Technical Advisory Committees/Group(s) are constituted for specific purpose(s) while involving experts/ngos and others as may be needed. 8. HS-PROD aims to be an easily accessible way to publicise successes and share reform know-how to solve common problems. 15.
