9 Boys: 5th/6th Grade Tournament Tournament Format: Teams will be placed into either a gold bracket or silver bracket. Teams will play every team in their bracket over the course of three weeks. The top two teams in each bracket will play a second game on 5/5 for the bracket championship. Game Format: The three bracket games will be 25 minute halves like normal. Championship games may be shortened, undecided at the moment. Shootouts: All games ending in a tie will go directly to a 5-man penalty kick shootout. Point System: Wins are worth 3 points. Shootout wins are worth 2 points. Shootout losses are worth one point. Regulation losses will earn no points. Tie Breaker: Should a tie breaker be needed to decide who advances to the finals: 1) head to head, 2) regulation wins, 3) shootout wins.
