operaor defined by he subdifferenial of a convex funcion has firs been inroduced by Gegou-Pei [6]. Furher, Pardoux and Râcanu [18] gave he exisence and uniqueness of he soluion of RBSDEs, on a random (possibly infinie) ime inerval, involving a subdifferenial operaor was proved in order o o give he probabilisic inerpreaion for he viscosiy soluion of some parabolic and ellipic variaional inequaliies. Following, Ouknine [16], N, Zi and Ouknine [13], Bahlali e al. [1, 2] discussed his ype RBS- DEs driven by Brownian moion or he combinaion of Brownian moion and Poisson random measure under he condiions of Lipschiz, locally Lipschiz or some monoone condiions on he coefficiens. El Karoui e al. [5] have go anoher ype RBSDEs differen here, where one of he componens of he soluion is forced o say above a given barrier, which provided a probabilisic formula for he viscosiy soluion of an obsacle problem for a parabolic PDE. Since hen, here were many works onhis opic. One can see Maoussi [12], Hamedène [8, 9], Lepelier and Xu [11], Ren e al. [19, 20] and so on. The main ool in he heory of BSDEs is he maringale represenaion heorem, which is well known for maringale which adaped o he filraion of he Brownian moion or ha of Poisson poin process (Pardoux and Peng [17], Tang and Li [22]). Recenly, Nualar and Schouens [14] gave a maringale represenaion heorem associaed o Lévy process. Furhermore, hey showed he exisence and uniqueness of soluions o BSDEs driven by Teugels maringales associaed wih Lévy process wih momens of all orders in [15]. The resuls were imporan from a pure mahemaical poin of view as well as in he world of finance. I could be used for he purpose of opion pricing in a Lévy marke and relaed parial differenial equaion which provided an analogue of he famous Black-Scholes parial differenial equaion. Moivaed by he above works, he purpose of he presen paper is o consider RBSDEs associaed o he subdifferenial operaor of a lower semiconinuous convex funcion driven by Teugels maringales associaed wih Lévy process which considered in Nualar and Schouens [14, 15]. We obain he exisence and uniqueness of he soluions for RBSDEs. As is applicaion, we give a probabilisic inerpreaion for a class of PDIIs. The paper is organized as follows. In Secion 2, we inroduce some preliminaries and noaions. Secion 3 is devoed o he proof of he exisence and 2
uniqueness of he soluions o RBSDEs driven by Lévy processes by means of he penalizaion mehods. A probabilisic inerpreaion for a class of PDIIs by our RBSDEs is given in he las secion. 2 Preliminaries and noaions Le T > 0 be a fixed erminal ime and (Ω,F,P) be a complee probabiliy space. Le {L : [0,T]} be a R-valued Lévy process corresponding o a sandard Lévy measure ν whose characerisic funcion has he following form: E(e iul ) = exp[iau 1 2 σ2 u 2 + R (eiux 1 iux1 { x <1} )ν(dx)], where a R,σ 0. Furhermore, Lévy measure ν saisfying he following condiions: (1) R (1 y2 )ν(dy) < ; (2) ] ε,ε[ c e λ y ν(dy) <, for every ε > 0 and for some λ > 0. This shows ha L has momens of all orders. We denoe by (H (i) ) i 1 he linear combinaion of so called Teugels Maringale Y (i) defined as follows associaed wih he Lévy process {L : [0,T]}. More precisely H (i) = c i,i Y (i) +c i,i 1 Y (i 1) + +c i,1 Y (1), where Y (i) = L (i) E[L (i) ] = L (i) E[L (i) 1 ] for all i 1 and L(i) are powerjump processes. Tha is, L (i) = L and L (i) = 0<s ( L ) i for i 2. I was shown in Naular and Schouens [14] ha he coefficiens c i,k correspond o he orhonormalizaion of he polynomials 1,x,x 2, wih respec o he measure µ(dx) = x 2 ν(dx)+σ 2 δ 0 (dx): q i 1 = c i,i x i 1 +c i,i 1 x i 2 + +c i,1. The maringale (H (i) ) i 1 can be chosen o be pairwise srongly orhonormal maringale. Furhermore, [H (i),h (j) ],i j, and {[H (i),h (j) ] } 0 are uniformly inegrable maringales wih iniial value 0, i.e. < H (i),h(j) > = δ ij. 3
Remark 2.1. If ν = 0, we are in he classic Brownian case and all non-zero degree polynomials q i (x) will vanish, giving H (i) = 0,i = 2,3,. If µ only has mass a 1, we are in he Poisson case; here also H (i) = 0,i = 2,3,. Boh cases are degenerae in his Lévy framework. define Le N denoe he oaliy of P null ses of F. For each [0,T], we Le us inroduce some spaces: F σ(l s,0 s ) N. H 2 = {ϕ : F progressively measurable process, real-valued process, s.. E 0 ϕ 2 d < } and denoe by P 2 he subspace of H 2 formed by he predicable processes; S 2 = {ϕ : F progressively measurable process, real-valued process, s.. E(sup 0 T ϕ() 2 ) < }; l 2 = {(x n ) n 0 :be real valued sequences such ha i=0 x2 i }. We shall denoe by H 2 (l 2 ) and P 2 (l 2 ) he corresponding spaces of l 2 -valued process equipped wih he norm ϕ 2 = E i=0 0 ϕ (i) 2 d. Now, we give he following assumpions: (H1) The erminal value ξ L 2 (Ω,F T,P); (H2) The coefficien f : [0,T] Ω R l 2 R is F progressively measurable, such ha f(,0,0) H 2 ; (H3) There exiss a consan C > 0 such ha for every (ω,) Ω [0,T],(y 1,z 1 ),(y 2,z 2 ) R l 2 f(,y 1,z 1 ) f(,y 2,z 2 ) 2 C( y 1 y z 1 z 2 2 ); (H4) Le Φ : R (,+ ] be a proper lower semiconinuous convex funcion. Define: Dom(Φ) := {x R : Φ(x) < + }, Φ(x) := {x R :< x,x u > +Φ(u) Φ(x), x R}, Dom( Φ)) := {x R : Φ }, Gr( Φ)) := {(x,x ) R 2 : x Dom( Φ)),x Φ(x)}, 4
Now, we inroduce a mulivalued maximal monoone operaor on R defined by he subdifferenial of he above funcion Φ. The deails appeared in Brezis [4]. For all x R, define Φ n (x) = min y ( n 2 x y 2 +Φ(y)). Le J n (x) be he unique soluion of he differenial inclusion x J n (x)+ 1 n Φ(J n(x)), which is called he resolven of he monoone operaor A = Φ. Then, we have Proposiion 2.1. (1) Φ n : R R is Lipschiz coninuous; (2) The Yosida approximaion of Φ is defined by A n (x) := Φ n (x) = n(x J n (x)),x R which is monoonic and Lipschiz coninuous and here exiss a inerior(dom(φ)) and posiive numbers R, C saisfies < Φ n (z),z a > R A n (z) C z C, for all z R and n N; (1) (3) For all x R, A n (x) A(J n (x)). Furher, we assure ha ξ Dom(Φ) and EΦ(ξ) <. This paper is mainly discuss he following refleced backward sochasic differenial equaions. In doing so, we firs give is definiion. Definiion 2.1. By definiion a soluion associaed wih he above assumpions (ξ,f,φ) is a riple (Y,Z,K ) 0 T of progressively measurable processes such ha Y = ξ + f(s,y s,z s )ds+k T K Z (i) s dh s (i), 0 T, (2) and saisfying (1) (Y,Z ) 0 T S 2 P 2 (l 2 ) and {Y,0 T} is càdlàg (righ coninuous wih lef limis) and ake values in Dom(Φ); (2) {K,0 T} is absoluely coninuous, K 0 = 0, and for all progressively measurable and righ coninuous process {(α,β ),0 T} Gr( Φ), we have 0 (Y α )(dk +β d) 0. 5
In order o obain he exisence and uniqueness of he soluions o (2), we consider he following penalizaion form of (2): Y n = ξ + [f(s,y n s,zn s ) A n(ys n)]ds Z (i),n s dh (i) s, 0 T, (3) where ξ,f saisfies he assumpions saed above and A n is he Yosida approximaion of he operaor A = Φ. Since A n is Lipschiz coninuous, i is known from he resul of [15], ha Eq. (3) has a unique soluion. Se K n = A 0 n(ys n ), 0 T. Our aim is o prove he sequence (Y n,z n,k n ) convergence o a sequence (Y,Z,K) which is our desired soluion o RBSDEs (2). 3 Exisence and uniqueness of he soluions The principal resul of he paper is he following heorem. Theorem 3.1. Assume ha assumpions on ξ,f and Φ hold, he RBSDEs (2) has a unique soluion (Y,Z,K ) 0 T. Moreover, line. lim n Esup 0 T Y n Y 2 = 0, lim n E 0 Zn Z 2 d = 0, lim n Esup 0 T K n K 2 = 0, where (Y n,z n ) be he soluion of Eq. (3). In he sequel, C > 0 denoes a consan which can change from line o The proof of he Theorem is divided ino he following Lemmas. Lemma 3.1. Under he assumpions of Theorem 3.1, here exiss a consan C 1 > 0 such ha for all n 1 E(sup 0 T Y n Zn s 2 ds+ 0 A n(y n s ) ds) C 1. Proof. By Iô formula, we have Y n a 2 = ξ a 2 +2 (Y n s a)f(s,ys n,zs)ds n 2 (Y n s a)a n(ys n)ds T Z n s 2 ds 2 (Y n s a)z (i),n s dh i s. (4) 6
Taking expecaion on he boh sides and considering (1), we obain E Y n a 2 +E Z n s 2 ds E ξ a 2 +2E (Y n s a)f(s,y s n,zn s )ds 2RE A n (Ys n) ds+2ce T Y n s ds+2c. So, we have E Y n a E Gronwall inequaliy shows So ha From (6) and (7), i is easy o show E 0 Z n s 2 ds C(1+E Y n s a 2 ds). (7) E Y n a 2 C, n. (8) E Y n 2 C, n. (9) ( Zs n 2 + A n (Ys n ) )ds C, n. (10) Bulkholder-Davis-Gundy inequaliy shows he desired resul of Lemma 3.1. Lemma 3.2. Under he assumpions of Theorem 3.1, here exiss a consan C 2 > 0 such ha for all n 1 E 0 A n(y n s ) 2 ds C 2. 7
Proof. Wihou loss of generaliy, we assume Φ 0,Φ(0) = 0. Le ψ n Φn n. For he convexiy of ψ n and Iô formula, we have ψ n (Y n ) ψ n (ξ)+ ψ n (Ys n )[f(s,ys n,zs) A n n (Ys n )]ds ψ n (Ys n)z(i),n s dhs i. (11) Taking expecaion on he boh sides, we obain Eψ n (Y n) Eψ n(ξ)+e ψ n (Ys n)f(s,y s n,zn s )ds E ψ n (Ys n )A n (Ys n )ds = Eψ n (ξ)+e ψ n (Ys n)f(s,y s n,zn s )ds 1E A n n (Ys n ) 2 ds. (12) Using he elemenary inequaliy 2ab βa 2 + b2, we obain β Eψ n (Y n)+ 1E A n n (Ys n) 2 ds Eψ n (ξ)+ 1 2n E A n (Y n s ) 2 ds+ 1 2n E f(s,y n s,zn s ) 2 ds. (13) Furher, we have Eψ n (Y n )+ 1 E A n n (Ys n ) 2 ds Eψ n (ξ)+ 1 2n E A n (Y n s ) 2 ds+ 1 2n E f(s,y n s,zn s ) 2 ds Eψ n (ξ)+ 1 2n E A n (Y n s ) 2 ds+ 1 2n E f(s,y n Eψ n (ξ)+ 1 2n E A n (Y n s ) 2 ds+ C n E Y n Lemma 3.1 shows + C n E Z n s 2 ds+ C n E f(s,0,0) 2 ds. which implies he desired resul. s 2 ds Eψ n (Y n )+ 1 n E A n (Y n s ) 2 ds C n, s,z n s) 2 ds (14) Lemma 3.3. Under he assumpions of Theorem 3.1, (Y n,z n ) be a Cauchy sequence in S 2 P 2 (l 2 ). Proof. By Iô formula, we have Y n Y m 2 + Z n s Zm s 2 ds = 2 (Y n s Ys m )[f(s,ys n,zs) f(s,y n s m,zs m )]ds 2 s Ym s )(A n(ys n) A m(ys m))ds (Y n 2 (Y n s Ys m )(Z s (i),n Z ((i),m s )dh i s. (15) 8
For I = J n + 1 n A n = J m + 1 m A m, A m Φ(J m (Y m s )), A n Φ(J n (Y n s )), we can obain (Ys n Ym s )(A n(ys n)ds A m(ys m)) 1 A 4m n(ys n) A 4n m(ys m) 2. So, we ge E Y n Y m 2 +E Z n s Zm s 2 ds 2CE ( Y n s Ym s 2 + Ys n Ym s Zn s Zm s )ds s ) 2 )ds +E ( 1 A 4m n(ys n ) A 4n m(y m 2CE [(1+β) Y n s Ym +E ( 1 4m A n(y n s ) n A m(y m Choosing β such ha 2C β < 1 2, hen s β Zn s Zm s 2 ]ds s ) 2 )ds. sup 0 T E Y n Y m E 0 Zn s Zm s 2 ds C( 1 n + 1 m ). Furher, Bulkholder-Davis-Gundy inequaliy shows (16) E sup Y n Y m T 2 E Zs n Zm s 2 ds C( 1 0 n + 1 ), (17) m which shows our desired resul. In order o obain he exisence of soluions o Eq. (2), we give he following Lemma appeared in Saisho [21]. Lemma 3.4. Le {K (n),n N} be a family of coninuous funcions of finie variaion on R +. Assume ha: (i) sup n K (n) C <, 0 < ; (ii) lim n K (n) = K C([0,+ );R). Then K is of finie variaion. Moreover, if {f (n),n N} is a family of coninuous funcions such ha lim n f (n) = f C([0,+ );R), hen lim n < s f(n) u,dku n) >= < f s u,dk u >, 0 s <. Proof of Theorem 3.1 Exisence. Lemma 3.3 shows ha (Y n,z n ) is a Cauchy sequence in space S 2 P 2 (l 2 ). We denoe is limi as (Y,Z). A he same ime, i is easy o verify ha (K n ) n N converges uniformly in L 2 (Ω) o he process K = lim n A 0 n(ys n)ds, ha is Esup 0 T K n K 2 = 0. Denoe H 1 (0,T;R) be he Sobolev space consising of all absoluely coninuous funcions wih derivaive in L 2 (0,T). Lemma 3.2 shows 9
sup n N E K n 2 H 2 (0,T;R) <, which implies ha he sequence K n is bounded in L 2 (Ω;H 1 (0,T;R)). So, here exiss an absoluely coninuous funcion K L 2 (Ω;H 1 (0,T;R)) which is he weak limi of K n. Furher, dk d = V, where V Φ(Y ). In he following, we verify ha (Y,Z,K) is he unique soluion o Eq. (2). Taking a subsequence, if necessary, we can show sup 0 T Y n Y 0, sup 0 T K n K 0. I follows ha Y is càglàg and K is coninuous. Furher, le (α,β) be a càglàg process wih values in Gr( Φ), i holds < J n (Y n ) α,dk n +β d > 0. SinceJ n isaconracionandy n uniformlyconverges oy on[0,t]. Ifollows ha J n (Y n ) converges o pr(y) uniformly, where pr denoes he projecion on Dom(Φ). Lemma 3.4 shows < pr(y ) α,dk +β d > 0. Inorderocompleeheproofofheexisence, weneedoverifyhefollowing P(Y Dom(Φ),0 T) = 1. For he righ coninuiy of Y, i suffices o prove P(Y Dom(Φ)) = 1, 0 T. If no so, here exiss 0 < < T and B 0 F such ha P(B 0 ) > 0 and Y 0 Dom(Φ), ω B 0. By he righ coninuiy, here exiss δ > 0, B 1 F such ha P(B 1 ) > 0, Y Dom(Φ) for (ω,) B 1 [ 0, 0 +δ]. Using he fac n N E A 0 n(ys n ) ds < and Faou Lemma, we ge B 1 0 +δ 0 liminf n A n (Y n s ) dsdp <, which is impossible for liminf n A n (Y n s ) = on he se B 1 [ 0, 0 +δ]. Uniqueness. Le (Y,Z,K ) 0 T and (Y,Z,K ) 0 T be wo soluions for Eq. (2). Define ( Y, Z, K ) 0 T = (Y Y,Z Z,K K ) 0 T. 10
Iô formula shows E Y 2 +E Z 2 ds = 2E Y s [f(s,y s,z s ) f(s,y s,z s )]ds+2e Y s d K s. (18) Since Φ is monoone and dk d Φ(Y ), dk d Φ(Y ), we obain E Y s d K s 0. Furher, E Y 2 +E Z 2 ds CE Y s 2 ds+ 1 2 E Z s 2 ds. Gronwall inequaliy shows he uniqueness of he soluions o Eq. Suppose ha our Lévy process has he form of L = a+x where X is a pure jump Lévy process wih Lévy measure ν(dx). In order o aain our main resul, we give a Lemma appeared in [15]. Lemma 4.1. Le c : Ω [0,T] R R be a measurable funcion such ha c(s,y) a s (y 2 y ) a.s., where {a s,s [0,T]}is anon-negaivepredicableprocesssuchha E 0 a2 s ds <. Then, for each 0 T, we have <s T c(s, L s) = < c(s, ),p i > L 2 (ν) dh s (i) + c(s,y)ν(dy)ds. R Consider he following coupled RBSDEs: Y = h(l T )+ f(s,l s,y s,z s )ds+k T K Z (i) s dh s (i), 0 T, (19) where E h(l T ) 2 <. Define u 1 (,x,y) = u(,x+y) u(,x) u x (,x)y, 11
where u is he soluion of he following PDIIs: u (,x)+a u x (,x)+f(,u(,x),{u(i) (,x)} ) + R u1 (,x,y)ν(dy) Φ(u(,x)), u(t,x) = h(x) Dom(Φ), (20) where a = a+ yν(dy) and { y 1} and for i 2 u (1) (,x) = R u1 (,x,y)p 1 (y)ν(dy)+ u x (,x)( R y2 ν(dy)) 1 2, u (i) (,x) = R u1 (,x,y)p i (y)ν(dy). Suppose ha u is C 1,2 funcion such ha u and 2 u x 2 is bounded by polynomial funcion of x, uniformly in. Then we have he following Theorem 4.1. The unique adaped soluion of (19) is given by Y = u(,l ), K = V 0 sds, V s Φ(u(,L )), Z (i) = R u1 (,L,y)p i (y)ν(dy), i 2, Z (1) = R u1 (,L,y)p 1 (y)ν(dy)+ u x (,L )( R y2 ν(dy)) 1 2. Proof. Applying Iô formula o u(s,l s ), we obain u(t,l T ) u(,l ) = u (s,l s s )ds+ u x (s,l s )dl s + <s T [u(s,l s) u(s,l s ) u x (s,l s ) L s ]. (21) Lemma 4.1 applied o u(s,l s +y) u(s,l s ) u(s,l x s )y shows <s T [u(s,l s) u(s,l s ) u(s,l x s ) L s ] = ( R u1 (s,l s,y)p i (y)ν(dy))dh s (i) + R u1 (s,l s,y)ν(dy)ds. (22) Noe ha L = Y (1) +EL 1 = ( y 2 ν(dy)) 1 (1) 2 H +EL 1, (23) R where EL 1 = a+ { y 1} yν(dy). Hence, subsiuing (22) and (23) ino (21) yields 12
