Ths s conceptually equvalent to quantum swappng. We consder the partal teleportaton of entanglement n the nosy envronment, employng the Werner-state representaton of the nosy channel for the smplcty of calculaton. To have the nsght of the many-body teleportaton, we ntroduce the measure of correlaton nformaton and study the transfer of the correlaton nformaton and entanglement. We fnd that the fdelty gets smaller as the ntal-state s entangled more for a gven entanglement of the quantum channel. The entangled channel transfers at least some of the entanglement to the fnal state. I. INTRODUCTION Quantum teleportaton of a sngle-partcle state has been extensvely studed both theoretcally [1] and expermentally [2]. Quantum teleportaton reproduces an unknown quantum state at a remote place whle the orgnal state s destroyed [1]. The key of the quantum teleportaton s the quantum channel composed of the quantum entangled par. If the quantum channel s maxmally entangled, for example, by usng the snglet state, the quantum state s perfectly reproduced at the remote place and the fdelty of the teleportaton s unty. However, n the real world, the quantum channel les n the nosy envronment, whch degrades the entanglement of the channel. The less s the quantum channel entangled, the smaller s the fdelty [ 5]. It has also been found that the fdelty of the quantum teleportaton s always larger than that of any classcal communcaton protocol even n the nosy envronment []. In ths paper, we are nterested n partal teleportaton of an entangled state of a two spn-1/2 system. An entangled par of partcles are prepared by Alce who wants to teleport one of the entangled par to Bob as shown n Fg. 1. If the quantum channel s maxmally entangled, the partal teleportaton s nothng more than entanglement swappng [6,7]. Bennett et al. [1] argued that teleportaton s a lnear operaton for the perfect quantum channel and could be extended to what s now called entanglement swappng [6], whch has been expermentally realsed [7]. Entanglement swappng was consdered for a more generalsed mult-partcle system [8] and for concentraton of partally entangled states [9]. In ths paper, we analyse the envronmental effects on the partal teleportaton of the entangled state, consderng the entanglement transfer and the fdelty. We defne a measure of entanglement usng the partal transposton. Although ths measure does not completely agree wth the entropy of entanglement for a pure state, t s useful and gves qualtatve nformaton. As t s easly calculated and satsfes mportant condtons of the measure of entanglement, we use t to analyse the partal teleportaton n ths paper. The concept of correlaton nformaton s also ntroduced. The correlaton nformaton we defne s, n general, dependent on classcal and quantum correlaton but we show that t bears a smple and useful lnear relaton for the partal teleportaton. We assume that the ntal entangled state s pure and the mxed quantum channel s represented by the Werner state. Weshowthatthecalculatonsmuchsmpleraswe employ the Werner-state channel whle we do not lose the generalty of the treatment. Entanglement transfer was extensvely studed by Schumacher[1] and teleportaton through general channels was consdered by Horodeck et al. [11]. II. MEASURES OF ENTANGLEMENT For a pure state ˆρ ofabpartte system, one can choose the entropy S of entanglement as a measure of entanglement, where S = Trˆρ a log 2 ˆρ a = Trˆρ b log 2 ˆρ b 1) where ˆρ a,b = Tr b,aˆρ s the reduced densty matrx for the subsystem a or b. For a mxed state, there have been many defntons for the measure of entanglement such as entanglement of formaton [12], quantum relatve entropy, and Bures metrc [1,1]. Every measure E ˆρ) should satsfy the followng necessary condtons for a gven densty matrx ˆρ [1,1], C.1) Eˆρ) = f and only f ˆρ s separable. C.2) A local untary transformaton leaves E ˆρ) nvarant; EÛ1 Û2ˆρÛ 1 Û 2 ) = Eˆρ) 2) for all untary operators Û1 and Û2. 1
C.) E ˆρ) cannot ncrease under local general measurements LGM), classcal communcatons CC), and post selecton of subensemble PSS), p Eˆρ ) Eˆρ), ) where p ˆρ =  ˆB ˆρ ˆB wth p = Tr ˆB ˆρ ˆB ; two set of LGM operators {Â} and {ˆB } are classcally correlated by CC. The requrement of the condton C.1) s clear snce a separable state s just classcally correlated and should be ndependent of the entanglement. Snce a local untary operaton s performed only locally, t cannot affect any entanglement, requred by the condton C.2). The condtonc.) s related wth the purfcaton procedure whch selects a subensemble of maxmally-quantumcorrelated pars among an mpure ensemble [12]. The purfcaton procedure can dstll maxmally entangled states such that Eˆρ ) Eˆρ) for a certan route, but the average entanglement cannot ncrease over the whole ensemble snce quantum nonlocal operatons are not ntroduced, represented n the condton C.). For a two spn-1/2 system, we defne the measure of entanglement n terms of the negatve egenvalues of the partal transposton of the state. Consder a densty matrx ˆρ for a two spn-1/2 system and ts partal transposton ˆσ = ˆρ T2. The densty matrx ˆρ s nseparable f and only f ˆσ has any negatve egenvalues [,15]. The measure of entanglement Eˆρ) s then defned as Eˆρ) = 2 λ ) where λ are the negatve egenvaluesof ˆσ and the factor 2 s ntroduced to have Eˆρ) 1. In Appendx, we prove that the entanglement measure ) satsfes the above necessary condtons. In fact, there s the fourth condton whch a measure of entanglement has to satsfy: C.) For pure states, the measure of entanglement reduces to the entropy of entanglement. We note that for a pure entangled state the entanglement measure ) s not reduced to the entropy of entanglement S but s a monotonously ncreasng functon of S as shown n Fg. 2. Vedral and Pleno [1] showed that the Bures metrc satsfes the condton C.1)-C.) but s smaller than the entropy of entanglement for pure states. They then wrote that measures whch do not satsfy condton C.) can nevertheless contan useful nformaton on entanglement. The Schmdt norm s another example of the measure of entanglement whch does not satsfy condton C.) [16]. The entanglement measure ) can qualtatvely gve nformaton on the entanglement of a gven state as t satsfes condtons C.1)-C.). Because of convenence n calculaton, we use Eˆρ) n Eq. ) as the measure of entanglement n ths paper. III. PARTIAL TELEPORTATION OF ENTANGLEMENT We consder the partal teleportaton of entanglement as shown n Fg. 1, where Alce teleports one partcle of her entangled par to Bob. Alce and Bob share an ancllary par of an entangled state. Alce performs the Bell-state measurement on one of her orgnal entangled par and her part of the ancllary par. Upon recevng Alce s measurement result through a classcal channel, Bob untary rotates hs part of the ancllary par based on t. If the ancllary par s perfectly entangled, Bob s partcle and Alce s unmeasured partcle become entangled as the Alce s orgnal entangled par. The basc dea of the partal teleportaton s smlar to the snglepartcle teleportaton or entanglement swappng but our nterest here does not stop at a smple result of the teleportaton of a partcle. In ths paper, the quantum channel s represented by a mxed entangled state due to the nfluence from the envronment. We are nterested n how the entanglement of the teleported state s affected by such the mperfect quantum channel by studyng the channel-dependent fdelty, nformaton transfer and entanglement transfer. We assume for the smplcty that Alce s ntal state s pure and the quantum channel s represented by a Werner state [17]. An ntal pure state for entangled two partcles 1 and 2 s gven n the Hlbert-Schmdt space by ˆρ 12 = 1 ˆ1 ˆ1+ a σ ˆ1+ˆ1 b σ + ) c nm ˆσ n ˆσ m nm 5) where a and b are real vectors and c nm s an element of the real matrx C. The ntal pure state ˆρ n Eq. 5) satsfes the pure state condton ˆρ 2 = ˆρ. We can also consder a general representaton of the ntal pure state 5), wth help of the seed state ˆρ 12 s defned as follows ˆρ 12 = Û1 Û2 )ˆρ 12 s Û1 Û2 ) 6) where Û1 and Û2 are local untary operators actng respectvely on the partcles 1 and 2. The densty operator for the seed state s ˆρ 12 s = 1 ˆ1 ˆ1+a ˆσ z ˆ1+ˆ1 a ˆσ z + n c nˆσ n ˆσ n ) 7) where a s a postve real number and c = c, c,1) a real vector, constraned by a 2 +c2 = 1. The vector c descrbes the quantum correlaton of the pure state ˆρ 12 s, yeldng the relaton E = c, where E s the measure of entanglement for ˆρ 12 s. The state has no entanglement,.e., E =, f and only f c =. Now, the state ˆρ 12 s 2
s charactersed by one parameter c or equvalently by ts entanglement E. By the defnton of the measure of entanglement, the ntal stateofthe densty operator ˆρ 12 and the state of the seed densty operator ˆρ 12 s have the same measure of entanglement, E. It s thus clear that the ntal state ˆρ 12 s fully determned by ts measure of entanglement E and the local untary operatons Û1 and Û2. We take the Werner state for the quantum channel. In fact, any mxed state can be made a Werner state by random local SU2) SU2) operatons [12,17] so that we do not lose the generalty by takng the Werner state n descrbng the mxed channel. The Werner state ŵ of the ancllary partcles and s ŵ = 1 ˆ1 ˆ1+ ) c nm w ˆσ n ˆσ n. 8) nm where c nm w s an element of the real matrx C w = 2Φ+ 1)/ dag 1, 1, 1). The Werner state becomes the snglet state when Φ = 1. The parameter Φ s related to the entanglement E w of the Werner state ŵ. It s straghtforward to show that E w = max,φ). The Bell-state measurement by Alce s represented by a famly of projectors ˆP 2 = Ψ 2 Ψ 2 = 1 where Ψ 2 I I + nm p nm σ n σ m ) 9) are the four possble Bell states and pnm s an element of the real matrx P ; P = dag 1, 1, 1), P 1 = dag 1,1,1), P 2 = dag1, 1,1), P = dag1, 1, 1). The Bell measurement s performed on the partcle 2 of the ntal entangled par and the partcle of the Werner state see Fg. 1). The quantum teleportaton utlses both the classcal and quantum channels. Upon recevng the two-bt classcal message on the Bell-state measurement through the classcal channel, Bob performs the untary transformaton on the partcle accordngly. If the quantum channel s n the spn snglet state, the teleportaton can be perfectly completed by one of the followng four possble untary operators: ˆ1, ˆσ x, ˆσ y, and ˆσ z. However, for the mxed channel, t s dffcult for Bob to decde whch untary transformaton to get the fnal state ˆρ 1 maxmally close to the ntal state ˆρ 12. Let us consder how to determne the rght untary transformaton when the channel s n the Werner state. Suppose Bob receves a two-bt message through the classcal channel sayng that Alce s measurement was Ψ 2. Bob then apples the untary transformaton Û on the partcle, then the state ˆρ 1 of the two partcles 1 and becomes ˆρ 1 = 1 [ˆP2 Tr 2, p Û 12 ˆρ ŵ ) ] ˆP2 Û 1) where p s the probablty of Ψ 2 to be the result of Alce s measurement. Eq. 1) can be wrtten n the Hlbert-Schmdt space as ˆρ 1 = 1 ˆ1 ˆ1+ a σ ˆ1+ˆ1 b σ+ nm wth the parameters a = a, c nm ˆσ n ˆσ m ). 11) b = 2Φ+1 O T P b, C = 2Φ+1 O T P C. 12) Here we have the rotaton matrx O n the Bloch space for a sngle partcle state, obtaned from the untary operator Û []: Û a σû = O T a ) σ. 1) The fdelty F measures how close the fnal state ˆρ 1 s to the ntal state ˆρ 12 ; F = p 1 Trˆρ 12ˆρ. If the teleportaton s perfect, the fnal state s the same as the ntal state so that the fdelty s 1. By substtutng ˆρ 12 n 5) and ˆρ 1 n 12) nto the defnton of the fdelty, we fnd the fdelty for the Werner-state channel [ ) F = 1 1+ a 2 + 2Φ+1 b 1 O T P b )] + 2Φ+1 Tr 1 O T P C T C. 1) The task s now to fnd Bob s untary operatons Û to maxmse fdelty 1). For a general mxed channel, the fdelty s a functon of the ntal and channel states as well as Bob s untary operaton. However, the basc assumpton of the quantum teleportaton s that the ntal state s unknown. In order to examne the fathfulness of quantum teleportaton, we need to average the fdelty over the Hlbert space where the ntal state les n. The untary operatons should be determned to maxmse the average fdelty []. For the Werner-state channel the fdelty has been calculated as n Eq. 1), where the measurement dependence s found n the terms ncludng OT P. It s clear that P n Eq. 9) s a rotaton matrx thus OP T 1. Choosng O = P to maxmse the fdelty 1), we fnd that the correspondng untary operators are the same as n the snglet-state channel dscussed above. Ths choce enables Bob to produce the measurement-ndependent fnal state ˆρ 1 = ˆρ1. The fdelty for the Werner-state channel s then gven by
F = 1 1+ a 2 + 2Φ+1 b 2 + 2Φ+1 ) TrC T C. 15) It s seen that the fdelty s nvarant for the local untary transformatons on the ntal pure state. Notng a, b and TrC T C are unquely determned by the entanglement E for the ntal state, the fdelty can be fnally wrtten as F = E w +2 + E w 1 E ) It s clear that the fdelty 16) depends on the ntalstate entanglement E and channel entanglement E w. The large entanglement n the channel enhances the fdelty and the maxmally entangled channel gves the unt fdelty ndependent from the ntal-state entanglement E. When Alce s ntal state s dsentangled,.e. E =, t can be wrtten as a drect product of two ndvdual states and the partal entanglement teleportaton becomes equvalent to a sngle-partcle case. In ths case, the fdeltysf = E w +2)/,equaltothat forthesnglepartcle teleportaton []. It has an upper bound of 2/ producble by classcalcommuncaton ofe w = []. For the entangled ntal state wth E, the large ntalstate entanglement E reduces monotonously the fdelty 16) for a gven channel entanglement E w < 1 because the sgn of the second term s negatve n Eq. 16). Ths mples that the ntal entanglement has fragle nature to teleport. In other words, the entanglement s destroyed easly by the envronment. To examne the loss of the ntal entanglement, we consder the entanglement transfer by teleportaton. We are nterested n how much the ntal-state entanglement s transferred to the fnal state. The measure of entanglement for the fnal state s calculated as Eˆρ 1 ) = 1 [ ] 1 E w ) 2 +E w 2+E w )E 2 1 E w). 17) As E/ E w, large entanglement of the channel enhances the entanglement transfer to the fnal state from the ntal one. For a gven entanglement of the channel, the entanglement of the fnal state ncreases as the ntal-state entanglement gets larger. The entanglement of the fnal state s nonzero as far as E w and E, whch shows that the entangled channel transfers at least some of the ntal entanglement to the fnal state. IV. CORRELATION INFORMATION Brukner and Zelnger have recently derved a measure of nformaton for a quantum state [18]. The nformaton measure s nvarant for a choce of a complete set {Â1,,Âm} of complementary observatons and s conserved as far as there s no nformaton exchange between the system and the envronment [18]. We employ the measure of nformaton to study the quantum nformaton transfer n the partal teleportaton of entanglement. Suppose an expermental arrangement for a measurement by observable Âj whch has n possble outcomes wth n dmensonal probablty vector p = p 1,...,p,...,p n ) for a gven system. The system s supposed to have maxmum k-bts of nformaton such that n = 2 k. The measure ofnformaton I j for the observable  j s defned as I j = N n =1 p 1 n) 2. 18) where the normalsaton constant N = 2 k k/2 k 1). I j results n k bts of nformaton f one p = 1 and bts of nformaton f all p are equal. For a complete set of m mutually complementary observables the measure of nformaton s defned as the sum of the measures of nformaton over the complete set Iˆρ) = m I j. 19) j=1 for the quantum state ˆρ. A sngle spn-1/2 system, for example, s represented by the measure of nformaton Iˆρ) = 2Trˆρ 2 1. In the followng, we defne the measure of correlaton nformaton based on the measure of nformaton ntroduced by Brukner and Zelnger. Let us consder the measure of nformaton for a composte system of two partcles whch can be decomposed nto three parts. Each partcle has ts own nformaton correspondng to ts reduced densty matrx, whch we call the ndvdual nformaton. The two partcles can also have the correlaton nformaton whch depends on how much they are correlated. The measure of total nformaton for a densty matrx ˆρ of the two spn-1/2 partcles s [18] Iˆρ) = 2 Trˆρ 2 1 ). 2) The measures of ndvdual nformaton I a ˆρ) and I b ˆρ) for the partcles a and b are I a ˆρ) = 2Tr a ˆρ a ) ) I b ˆρ) = 2Tr b ˆρ b ) ) where ˆρ a,b = Tr b,aˆρ are reduced densty matrces for the partcles a and b. If the total densty matrx ˆρ s represented by ˆρ = ˆρ a ˆρ b, the total system s completely separable and we know that there s no correlaton nformaton. We thus defne the measure of correlaton nformaton as
I c ˆρ) = Iˆρ) Iˆρ a ˆρ b ) = Iˆρ) 2 [I aˆρ)+i b ˆρ) +I a ˆρ)I b ˆρ)]. 2) The measures of ndvdual and correlaton nformaton are nvarant for any partcular choce of the complete set of complementary observables. If there s no correlaton between the two partcles, the measure of total nformaton s a mere sum of the measures of ndvdual nformaton. On the other hand, the total nformaton s mposed only on the correlaton nformaton, I = I c, f there s no ndvdual nformaton, I a = I b =. For a two spn-1/2 system, the maxmally entangled states have only the correlaton nformaton. Note that the correlaton nformaton s not the same as the measure of entanglement. Only when a pure state s consdered the measure of the correlaton s drectly related to the measure of entanglement. For a mxed state, the correlaton nformaton also ncludes the nformaton due to classcal correlaton. For example, the state of the densty operator ˆρ cc = 1/ˆ1 ˆ1 σ z σ z ) s not quantum-mechancally entangled but classcally correlated wth the correlated nformaton I c [19]. The total nformaton Iˆρ 1 ) n the fnal state 11) s obtaned usng ts defnton 2): [ Iˆρ 1 ) = 2 ) { 2 2Ew ) 2 2Ew } 2) whch depends on the ntal-state and the channel entanglement. We can easly fnd that Iˆρ 1 ) 2 from the range of the entanglement measure E w, E 1. The measure of nformaton for the ntal state s 2 as t s a puretwospn-1/2system. The fnal state can haveat best the same amount of nformaton as the ntal state because the nosy envronment acts only to dsspate the nformaton. The total nformaton s better preserved for the larger channel entanglement E w. The total nformaton s lost more easly for the larger ntal entanglement as the sgn of the coeffcent for E 2 s negatve. Ths s consstent wth the dscussons for the fdelty. We evaluate the measures of ndvdual I 1, I and correlaton I c nformaton for the fnal state gven by E 2 ] ndvdual nformaton for the partcle 2 s not fully transferred to the partcle and the correlaton nformaton s decreased. The coeffcent for the decrease of the nformaton s the same for I and I c but we must remember that the maxmum measure of correlaton nformaton s 2 whle that of ndvdual nformaton s 1, whch shows that the correlaton nformaton can be lost more easly. Because the fnal state s a mxed state, ts correlaton nformaton I c descrbes n general both the quantum and classcal correlatons. For an entangled ntal state of E we consder two cases: E w = and E w. If E w =, the fnal state s classcally correlated because I c n Eq. 27) whereas E = Eˆρ 1 ) = n Eq. 17). Ontheotherhand, fe w,thecorrelatonnformaton I c can be wrtten n terms of the fnal entanglement E: ) 2 2Ew +1 I c = 2 E +1 E ) w) E w 2+E w ) E E +1 E w) E. 28) E w 2+E w ) The correlaton nformaton I c = f and only f E = for partal teleportaton va the Werner channel. Ths shows that for E w the correlaton nformaton of the fnal state s only due to the quantum correlaton. V. REMARKS The partal teleportaton of entanglement has been consdered n the nosy envronment. The measures of ndvdual and correlaton nformaton have been extensvely studed for the two spn-1/2 system. As the Werner-state s employed for the quantum channel, the calculaton of the fdelty, the nformaton transfer and the entanglement transfer became extremely smple whle we do not lose the generalty to consder the nosy envronment. The larger the ntal-state entanglement s, the worse the fdelty becomes for any mperfect quantum channel. We, however, fnd more entanglement n the fnal state wth the larger ntal-state entanglement. The entangled channel transfers at least some of the entanglement to the fnal state. I 1 ˆρ 1 ) = I1 25) ) 2 I ˆρ 1 2Ew +1 ) = I2 26) ) 2 I c ˆρ 1 2Ew +1 ) = Ic 27) where I1 = 1 E2, I 2 = 1 E2, and I c = 2 E 2)E2 / are the measures of ndvdual and correlaton nformaton for the ntal state ˆρ 12. Because there has been no acton on Alce s partcle 1, ts ndvdual nformaton remans unchanged wth I 1 = I1. On the other hand, the ACKNOWLEDGMENTS JL thanks Mr.Č. 6 APPENDIX: PROOF OF THE MEASURE OF ENTANGLEMENT EQ. ) Consder a densty matrx ˆρ for a two spn-1/2 system and the partal transposton ˆσ = ˆρ T2 [2]. The densty matrx ˆρ s nseparable f and only f ˆσ has any negatve egenvalues [,15]. The measure of entanglement E ˆρ) s defned as 2 λ ) wth the negatve egenvalues λ of ˆσ. We wll showthat Eˆρ) satsfesthe three condtons C.1)-C.). Let ˆdˆρ) be a dagonal matrx of the partal transposton ˆσ such that, for some untary operator U, ˆdˆρ) = UˆσU ) = dagλ 1,λ 2,λ,λ ) A1) wheredag{λ })representsadagonalmatrxwthtsdagonal elements λ and thus λ are egenvalues of ˆσ. For the gven ˆdˆρ), the densty matrx space s decomposed nto two subspaces; one s expanded by egenvectors of the sem-postve postve or zero) egenvalues and the other of the negatve egenvalues of ˆd. The dentty operator ˆ1 s then the sum of two projectors ˆP + and ˆP such that ˆ1 = ˆP + + ˆP A2) where ˆP + ˆP ) projects the densty matrx space onto the sem-postve negatve) egenvalue subspace. Any hermtan matrx Ĥ s decomposed nto Ĥ = ˆP + Ĥ ˆP + + ˆP + Ĥ ˆP + ˆP Ĥ ˆP + + ˆP Ĥ ˆP and thus ˆdˆρ) = ˆd + ˆρ)+ ˆd ˆρ) A) A) where ˆd + ˆP +ˆdˆP+ and ˆd ˆP ˆdˆP. Note that ˆP +ˆdˆP = ˆP ˆdˆP+ = snce ˆd s a dagonal matrx. Now, the measure of entanglement Eˆρ) s defned as twce the absolute value of the trace on the negatve dagonal matrx ˆd ˆρ), gven by ] Eˆρ) 2Tr[ˆd ˆρ) = 2 λ β ) A5) β where λ β s negatve egenvalue of ˆσ and the factor 2 s ntroduced to be Eˆρ) 1. Now we consder that Eˆρ) n Eq. ) satsfes the necessary condtons C.1)-C.). If ˆρ s separable, ˆσ has no negatve egenvalues and the converse statement also holds, satsfyng the condton C.1). A local untary transformaton leads to new densty matrx ˆρ = Û 1 Û2ˆρÛ 1 Û 2 and ts partal transposton ˆσ = Û 1 Û 2ˆσÛ 1 Û 2). Note that Û1 Û 2 s a untary operator such that Û1 Û 2Û 1 Û 2) = ˆ1. Snce the egenvalues are ndependent of the untary transformaton, the condton C.2) s satsfed wth Eˆρ ) = Eˆρ). To consder the fnal condton C.), we ntroduce the LGM+CC+PSS) whch maps the densty matrx ˆρ nto ˆρ, defned by ˆρ = ˆV ˆρˆV A6) where the classcally correlated operator ˆV = Â ˆB satsfes the complete relaton as ˆV ) ˆV = ˆ1. Let p ˆρ = ˆV ˆρˆV wth p = TrˆV ˆρˆV and ˆσ = ˆρ T2. Snce ˆV s a local operator, ˆσ s represented n terms of ˆσ, namely, p ˆσ = ˆV ˆσ ˆV A7) where ˆV = Â ˆB s an LGM+CC operator wth a completeness relaton ˆV ˆV = ˆ1. Suppose ˆd are dagonal matrces of ˆσ wth some untary operator Û and ˆd of ˆσ wth Û. The dagonal matrx ˆd can be wrtten as p ˆd = ÛˆV Û ) ÛˆσÛ ) Û ˆV Û ) = ŴˆdŴ A8) where Ŵ = ÛˆV Û s also a LGM+CC operator. For the gven ˆd, two projectors ˆP and ˆP + are defned to project the densty matrx space onto sem-postve and negatve egenvalue subspaces of ˆd. The measure of entanglement Eˆρ ) on the subensemble ˆρ s gven by ] p Eˆρ ) = 2p Tr[ˆd ˆρ ) = 2Tr ˆP Ŵ ˆdŴ ˆP ).
