2 A B O U T T H E G A R Y S I N I S E F O U N D A T I O N The Gary Sinise Foundation was established under the philanthropic direc on of actor Gary Sinise, an advocate for our nation s defenders for nearly forty years. Its outreach supports those who sacrifice to defend our country active duty, veterans, first responders, and their loved ones. The experiences of war leave an indelible impact on our servicemen and women. As they return to civilian life, the physical, emotional and psychological challenges they face are o en difficult. As ci zens, suppor ng the heroes who defend our na on is a responsibility we can share. We are all beneficiaries of the freedom and security they fight to protect. Whether building specially adapted smart homes for wounded heroes, honoring our Gold Star families, lifting spirits home and abroad with an explosive live concert, providing funds for essential equipment to first responders, or bringing WWII veterans to the museum built in their honor, the Gary Sinise Foundation serves America s heroes and their loved ones 365 days a year.
