2 Edmonton Down Syndrome Society Supporting families from Red Deer to the Northwest Territories, the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society (EDSS) provides essential resources to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. EDSS offers a wide variety of programs and support to their membership ranging from speech therapy to youth groups. One of these important resources is the Edmonton Down Syndrome Clinic, which currently sees over 350 patients providing valuable education and health information to families and healthcare professionals. Uniquely Me Fashion Show On October 24 th, 2018, the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society will be celebrating the 7 th Annual Uniquely Me Fashion Show and Fundraiser Gala. Hosted at the beautifully renovated Chateau Lacombe Hotel, you will be taken to an elegant evening in Paris and will be wowed by a tres magnifique fashion show. Uniquely Me's purpose is to create awareness about the unique abilities and potential that lies within each of us. Through this event we seek to demonstrate how every person born with Down syndrome can enjoy a healthy, fun and fulfilling life. We hope you can join us! 2
