The four claims are almost perfectly divided by a NB-SW diagonal on the SK side of which lie the bare quartzite out crops whereas the NW side Is covered by cultivated end pastureland fields over which flow two small streams. The extreme eastern quartzite hills rise 200 feet above the flat fields. (b) Accessibility; The No. 17 highway, (Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie) crosses the northern end of the claims. A single lane gravelled read, running to Beaver Lake, branches off No. 17 highway and extends down the west side of the claims. The base line for the Survey was run north-south down the cintre of Lot 4, Concession 1. Geology; Table of Formations Quartzite with Impure Zone Greywacke Description of Formationst The main rook type is the quartzite. Although the sedimentary structures in this rock are not very pronounced the strike of the beds appears to be NB-SW with a flat (C50 ) dip to the Si. One outcrop showed bed crops to the east indicating the beds as being upright. An Impure zone 600 feet wide paralleling the strike runs down the middle of the property. In places, the contact with the purer quartzite is sharp. The other rook type is the greywacke, which is situated in the extreme north end of the claims. This rock is deep in colour and fine grained. It is probably part of slates which lie further north. No significant shears, faults or sulphide mineralization was observed in the outcrops. O O May 21, 1952 PP:jep P. Potapofr f ' Geologist

Surrey Date: April 15 to April 18, Instruments: A Hotohkiss Super Pip magnetometer of approximately 30 gamma sensitively was used for the survey. This instrument was set to read the vertical component of the earth magnetic field and in use was oriented at right angles to the magnetic meridian, Maps: The accompanying map shows the results of the magnetic survey plotted as profiles. A Base line and cross lines were cut for control. Four miles of line were cut. One hundred and seventy-seven magnetic readings were taken. All readings and lines out were within the boundaries of the 4 claims. The relatively high magnetic readings obtained on the 4/00 line are Interpreted as being caused by the rails of the railway.
