2 IASOA Data Portal Datasets Available Multiple Data Centers and Institutes contribute access to data through the IASOA Data Portal by using standardized metadata protocols
3 Scientific station Cape Baranova is potential new member of IASOA The location of the Cape Baranova Ice Station is one of the least investigated regions of the Arctic Ocean. With an extensive complex of atmospheric observations Cape Baranova Ice Station is a candidate for full partnership in the IASOA consortium.

5 IASOA for YOPP On going: Cross Observatory Coordination Initiate an IASOA Working Group on Regional Processes (underway). Regional Processes Working Group will lead on Preparatory & YOPP work Preparatory Phase: Setting Climatological Context & Diagnosing Forecast Errors Develop interoperable, error corrected climatology of long term meteorological observations and other key data (e.g. surface energy balance data products) Explore impact of Arctic observations on forecast models (e.g. Summit Station) and identify specific regimes for forecast improvements (e.g. strong surface inversions) and most sensitive locations. YOPP: Targeted Intensive Observations Design a coordinated experiment plan for enhanced observations across the IASOA network during YOPP (e.g. 4x's daily radiosondes)
