4 Cabinets G minirack Text The portable frame of the minirack consists of aluminium frames and aluminium uprights. minirack cabinets (19" and universal) have a lighter physical build than the eurorack and are considerably narrower With a cabinet width of only 553 mm the minirack is the narrowest among 19" cabinets. miniracks are to be found not only in offices and laboratories but also in recording and television studios. 5 Cabinets G minirack - frames Text 19" frame Universal frame minirack is - like eurorack - systematically orientated in its internal dimensions to the height units of 19" systems and not to the otherwise common increments in mm for the outer dimensions. 19" components are thus symmetrical in height with the frame, without disruptive gaps. So that likewise no gaps occur in the width, in the 19" frame the 19" plane is already integrated in the vertical cabinet uprights. When fully equipped with 19" components, the cabinet therefore looks superb without any cover trim, decorative frame or doors. Its attractive aluminium frame is seen to full effect. Front doors can be fitted to either the 33 mm or the 60 mm space in front resp. behind the 19" plane If still more space is required in front of the 19" plane, the user can fall back on the universal frame and fit separate 19" panel/slide mounts. These can then be positioned at 25 mm depth intervals on the depth members.
