1 PROSPECTING REPORT OP F89NW*«« REVELL 010 Project # 1 fii^ell Twp. Gold Showing SV309 and SV310 In April of 1990 a grid was laid out over 6 claims and a magneto meter and VLF EM Survey were carried out. This work was submitted as assessment work and a copy Is attached to this report. As follow-up to the geophysical surveys prospecting of the suspected magnetite zone found a small outcrop of magnetite and carbonate under thin overburden at the edge of a low area. Twenfryseven humus samples were taken on line 250E from the baseline north, crossing the iron zone* A backhoe was engaged to do two things: 1} Expose the Iron zone In the north for sampling and at the west end expose bedrock were a EM conductor crosses the magnetic anomaly. 2) Expose quartz veins close to the old pits in the area were last years soil sampling gave encouraging results. This work was successful In exposing the Iron zone in three places over a distance of 125 metres. The interseotlon of the magnet $»*fjk* EM anomalies could not be exposed due to deeper than expected overburden. While some new quartz was exposed In the vicinity of the old pits some trenches did not reach bedrock as the depth of the overburden exceeded the capacity of the backhoe. In two Instances ground water started to seep Into the trench before bedrock was raaohed. A line of closely spaced hunus samples Just west of trenches 11 and 12 assayed nil in gold. Rook sampling of newly exposed material could not duplicate the encouraging assays from before at pit #2. From the results obtained it is clear that gold does not occur In the magnetite-oarbonlte zone. The quartz in the area of the old pits, while mineralized, does not carry appreciable gold values except over a very limited width and length in old pit #2. The same vein where exposed by backhoe outside the pit and blasted down to fresh material gave no gold in two representative samples.

2 OP Project #1 cont'd It was hoped that the magnetite-carbonate zone might be a carrier of ggld values because there IB a high grade gold showing 3 km west In Melgund Twp. (project #2) and to the east the 'McKraken showing* Is 5km away. Unless the 30 element analysis of this material shows a valuable constituent this zone will have to be written off. In conclusion, It Is felt that the ground has been thoncughly tested and further exploration Is not warranted on these claims.

21 PFOSPECTING REPORT OP F09NW»ee REVELL 020 Project # 8 Melgund Twp. Gold Showing SV254 The property is located 48 km east of Dryden, two kilometres south of the Trans Canada Hwy. Access to the ground can be made from a point 1.5 km south of Borups Corners. There, a narrow bush road leads east to the showing. Property: The property consists of two patented mining claims, SV254 and SV263 which are owned by the claimant. The ground was purchased from L. Fidgeon of Wablggon in Exploration History: The first geological mapping of the Dyment area was carried out by Mclnnes (1906) at a scale of 1 inch to 4 miles. Satterly mapped Melgund Twp. in 1960 at a scale of 1 Ineh to mile. The Dyment area was the seene of considerable prospecting activity around the turn of the century. This activity resulted in locating 29 prospects as listed and described by Satterly (i960). All these showings have trenches, shafts or adits. Immediately south of the Dyment area are the Sakoose and the Tabor Lake mines, both experienced limited pro duction* During 1984 field season a small heap leach pad was const ructed and loaded by J. Redden to test the viability of this ggld extraction method in Northwestern Ontario. The results were encou raging (J. Redden, personal communication). Golf- was discovered on the SV254 ground near the beginning of the century* Local residents are reported to have panned small bottles full of gold from weathered material around the showings (Thompson, 19^7). Satterly reports a minimum of 15 pits or trenches along a line one quarter mile long. More recently, in the summer of 1983 the writer collected 28 fcamples along the mineralized zone, these assayed from trace to oz. gold per ton. In late 1983 Silver Lake Resources Inc. optioned the ground together with 5 unpatented claims adjacent to SV254. The com pany conducted magnetometer and VLF surveys and did stripping by bulldozer. One hole was drilled and the option was terminated in Geology: The bedrock consists of primarily of mafic metavolcanies with sub ordinate felsic metavolcanics. Planking this formation to the east is a granodiorite pluton known as the Revell Batholith.

22 OP Project # 2 cont'd Drilling and blasting was done in July with a compressor to get a larger sample of 400 lb. and run it through A. Kozowy's crusher and concentrator at Dryden to get an average grade figure for the higher grade section In pit # 2, and also to expose fresh material for con ventional sampling. The free gold in the concentrate from 400 lb. was determined as being one quarter of an ounce. This translates Into a grade of 1.25 oz./ton for this sample. The high grade shoot Is only 6 to 8 Inches wide and 15 feet long. HO widening of the vein has occured at a depth of 5 feet nor could an extension to Its length be established. It was felt that a connecting vein could be proven between pit # 2 and pit # 3- A cursory tonnage at pit # 2 is estimated at.75 ton per vertical foot, or.93 ounces of gold per vertical foot. Pit # 3 also exposes a s^ilar situation. On the positive side, it has been proven that the vein shows more consistant values at the bottom of the pit. the pyrlte rich section of the vein can be counted on to assay.40 oz./ton(a minimum). This may help to induce a larger exploration company to do serious deep drilling along the 1400 feet long mineralized alteration zone, with the hope of finding wider and more conslstant ore shoots.
