6 Data Collection and Verification Collected 173,000 spatially discrete tourist origins and destinations. Also collected polygon shapes and line data Organized into 92 geographic data types: 8 origins, 84 destinations.
7 Data Collection Used NAICS Codes for defining the data framework Selection of tourist O/D was based on a comprehensive review of resources. Accessed internet databases (e.g., FGDL) Additional use of a web crawler through tourist websites (e.g., Booking.com)
