11 $673,223 adisonville ommunity ollege op rants and ontracts adisonville ommunity ollege received $673,223 from the.. epartment of griculture s elta ealthcare ervices rogram to establish a simulation lab in partnership with Baptist ealth adisonville (B) and the West rea ealth ducation enter. unding supports equipment, staff and the development of learning activities for two mock critical-care rooms, a faculty observation room, and a student debriefing room on-site in B hospital. tate-of-the-art simulation manikins and related biomedical care equipment allow students and healthcare professionals to be trained in mock critical-care scenarios, and then apply that training in a realistic setting. $596,200 outheast Kentucky ommunity and echnical ollege outheast ommunity and echnical ollege received $596,200 from the ppalachian egional ommission s outheast Kentucky evitalization roject to continue strengthening the economies of ppalachia s coal-impacted communities. hese investments will help grow an emerging local agricultural network, develop an innovative suite of training programs to serve growing industries, and provide technical assistance with strategic planning for an emerging social enterprise in central ppalachia. 9
