3 GEODETIC DATUM IN MOLDOVA The rectangular coordinate reference system for Moldova: MOLDREF99. OTACI The geodetic datum for MOLDREF99: ETRS89 and GRS80 There are totally 495 points available based on MOLDREF99. These are divided into 3 classes/orders: 5 points of 0 class/order 72 points of 1st class/order 418 points of 2nd class/order; UNGHENI CHELTUITORUL NOU The vertical datum is Baltic Sea Level based on Kronstadt zero point Connection of the National Geodetic Network with the European Geodetic Frame EUREF was done. 9 MOLDPOS INTEGRATION Moldova is an active member of EuroGeographics and closely cooperate in frame of EUREF As a part of EUPOS, MOLDPOS shall fulfil all accuracy requirements for geodesy and navigation and guarantee availability and quality of the services continuity.

11 Orthophoto Maps Orthophoto maps is a the part of Project Moldova Orthophoto and was funded by Norwegian Government. Norway Statens cartverk in cooperation with Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre of Moldova administrated the Project. The Moldova Orthophoto Project consists of production of digital orthophotos with resolution 40 cm of the entire territory excluding Transdnistrian, orthophotos with resolution 20 cm for urban areas and DTM.

12 Line maps for development Line Maps is the part of Project Line maps for development and is funded by Norwegian Government. Norway Statens Kartverk in cooperation with Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre of Moldova administrate the Project.

13 Base Map for Development of National Spatial Data Infrastructure Base Map 1: is a part of Project Base Map for Development of National Spatial Data Infrastructure in the Republic of Moldova and is funded by the Government of Japan. JICA team throw Pasco Co. in cooperation with ALRC administrate the Project.

23 The future Agenda Networks for co-operation between central and local government authorities and the private sector are of basic importance for the creation of a NSDI & GNSS.
