2 Research Focus Tailored synthesis of functional molecules, polymers, block copolymers and their structure/morphology studies and application in diverse devices. Specifically, we are interested in: Functional chromophores and photoswitches: Synthesis of fluorescent dyes, combination with photoswitchable units and optical transsitors, microwave and flow reactors Conjugated polyelectrolytes and bioelectronics: Synthesis of well-ordered conjugated polylectrolytes and application in electrochemical transsistors to detect and assay biological molecules and cells Fully functionalized / amphiphilic diblock copolymers for solar cell applications: Synthetic techniques such as NMRP, RAFT, KCTP towards tailored block copolymers, application in organic and hybrid solar cells, charge transport measurements. Charge transport polymers for sensors and dosimetry to detect pollutants: Tuning of chemical structure of charge transport polymers to detect and assay pollutants such as NOx, SO 2 Device preparation and analysis: Solar cells, Organic field effect transistors, Diodes and transient charge recombination studies Publications 1.
