4 How Was Right of Way Acquired? TxDOT purchased ROW prior to putting the project out to bid. SouthGate was responsible for the remaining parcels post-award. Where is Utility Work Being Performed? The focus is around where ROW is acquired and there is the land available to begin utility relocation. How is This Work Sequenced? 4

14 SH 114 over O Connor Blvd. Bridge expansion continues and will continue for the next several months Nightly closures of O Connor will continue for the next several months Visit website for exact dates and times (lane closures/sh 114 section) First project girders will be set over O Connor at the beginning of August Tentative full weekend closure of O Connor Blvd. under SH 114 Tentative dates: 9 PM on 8/6 (Friday) to 6 AM on 8/9(Monday) 14

18 SH 114 over Spur 482 Initial bridge demo and widening has begun recently and will continue for the next several months. Nightly closures of north and southbound Spur 482 for initial bridge demolition in preparation for widening. Visit website for exact dates and times (lane closures/spur 482 section) Closure of ramp from eastbound SH 183/northbound Spur 482 to westbound SH 114. This ramp is now closed for an extended period of time. Detour routes are in place and detour maps available on our website (lane closures/spur 482 section). 18

19 Closure: Northbound Spur 482 to westbound SH 114 ramp. This is a long-term closure. Work Performed: Initial bridge demolition of east and westbound SH 114 to prepare for bridge widening. Detour: Traffic will take eastbound SH 183 to Regal Row U-turn. Then travel westbound on SH 183 to westbound SH

20 Closure: Southbound Spur 482 to westbound SH 183 (Green). Closure: Southbound Spur 482 to eastbound SH 183 (Orange) Work Performed: Initial bridge demolition of east and westbound SH 114 to prepare for bridge widening. Detour: Traffic will exit onto Spur Road and take westbound SH 114 frontage road to Loop 12 U-turn. Take eastbound SH 114 frontage road Spur Road to get back on west or eastbound SH 183. Detour: Traffic will take the Grauwyler Road exit to the SH 183 frontage road U-turn under SH 183. Follow the frontage road west to enter onto northbound Spur 482. 22 Upcoming Full Closures William Brewster at Eastbound SH 183 Frontage Road Work Performed: Utilities- Water line installation. Date & Time: Starting at 7 AM on 7/29 through 7/31 Grauwyler Road U-turn Under SH 183 Work Performed: Utilities - telecom Dates: 8/1-8/3 & 8/8-8/10 Time: 12 PM on Saturday to 5 AM on Monday each weekend. Traffic will be detoured to Regal Row to access the north side of SH 183 and to Carl Rd. to access the south side of SH 183. All dates are subject to change and weather dependent 22

24 Traffic Switches/Shifts A shift is a change in traffic pattern on existing roadway i.e. reducing lane width to 11-ft., or moving existing lanes to the north or south Not always obvious to drivers there has been a shift 48 hours notice A switch is a more significant change in traffic pattern onto new detour pavement or moving location of an on/off-ramp Obvious change in traffic pattern 14 days notice 24

25 Traffic Switches SH 114 Eastbound SH 114 at MacArthur Blvd. Switch: Traffic on eastbound SH 114 off-ramp to MacArthur Blvd will move onto detour pavement. The travel lanes will move slightly to the center. Switch Date & Time: 9 PM to 6 AM on 7/24/2015 Eastbound SH 114 at SH 161 Switch: Eastbound SH 114 on-ramp from SH 161 will be moved onto detour pavement. Switch Date & Time: 9 PM to 6 AM on 7/24/2015 Eastbound SH 114 from Rochelle to O Connor Blvd. Switch: Eastbound SH 114 from Rochelle Blvd. to O'Connor Blvd. will switch to detour pavement. Switch: The westbound SH 114 frontage road west of Belt Line to just west of the on-ramp will be reduced to one lane for an extended period of time.
