April 2. Exploring north escarpment of swamp. Nearly all has cover. Was more interested in south escarpment but water so high was unable to get to it. Began constructing tool crib. May 20. Got very wet crossing to south escarpment. Water still high. Stripped one small area of south escarpment to view geology. June 3- Built small pole footbridge to cross to south side of swamp. June 14, 15, 16.- Stripping two small trenches or pits to view geology. Lots of roots. (South escarpment.) July 7, 8, 9. - Still lots of bugs. Stripping two more small areas or holes to view geology. Aug. 8, 9, Completed last of 8 small strippings (about every 30 meters) along south escarpment to view geology. Completed Tool crib construction. Began similar sized storage shed. Completed approx 7 cords of firewood. Geology of south escarpment. Granite Gneissic rock with biotite. Aug. 20, Sept. 2, 3, 16. Oct. 14, 15, Nov. 7 Exploring about 1/2 of north claim line (NW corner to road.) with 3 small strippings.49207

2 .. 2 Geology Although it appears physically separate from the ridge of outcroppings explored in 2009, above, geology appears very similar. Viatite Gneiss/coarse pegmatite with biotite, muscovite and often blebs and small seams of Brill quartz with minor sulphides. Left Claim Nov Wet spring. Could not get on to claim till May. 15. Continued constructing storage unit. June 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, and 22. Exploring and stripping six small holes to view geology on north escarpment. Water is way down. Because north escarpment geography was quite different than south side with seemingly different wear patterns, was surprised to find geology similar. Granite Gneissic rock with biotite. July 20, 21. Exploring balance of north side claim line (from edge of swamp.) to road. Two small strippings. Geology as above. July 27 Met with Sudbury Mining Dept. and surprised that the claim reporting process was quite different and much more extensive than previously. Of course had records but they were for my own purposes which did not specifically align with the new departments guidelines. was complying with previous guidelines Began scramble to comply with new guidelines. July 28 to Aug 4 inclusive. Locate and compile as many existing records as possible. Revisit a few sites where records were missplaced. Handwrite report. Since there is no power at or near claim, had to find a library with computers which was open. Moreover most public libraries restrict computer usage to one hour, max. type very slowly with one finger and am not very familiar with programs in use today. Nearest Libraries are Parry Sound, Sudbury, and Powassen, so a good deal of travel time and expense is also involved. (not included in my costs) Allen Currie

6 )) fl--3 -) Revised report of daily work done on claim (Registered Aug, ) Access to the property is as follows; From highway 69 in a generally NE direction, go along Highway kilometers to a newly renovated logging road. Turn left (generally North) and proceed 3 kilometers theclaim_ The purpose of the claim is; \: VED 1) To further enhance my personal knowledge of prospecting 2) To test a theory regarding the possible location of an ancient lakebed a formation of minerals at such location over time_ L--~~~;_.-r-"'"'\"- 3) To explore for any commercial level of mineralization, especially those which might be for along such a lakeshore with particular reference to pegmatites, halites, etc. All stripping was manual using shovel, axe, grub-hoe. Overburden was generally about one meter, heavily laced with tree roots_ The purpose of the stripping was to view and/or sample the underlying geology so the stripping generally consisted of removal of overburden for an area of 1-1 ~ meters by 1-1 ~ meters at each site. Sept. 15 & 23, Primarily exploring the area and outcroppings between the road and the north-west corner of the claim. (Got caught by dark on the 15th and had to spend the night at an outcropping where fire was safe for fear of falling in a hole while travelling in the dark and possibly injuring myself.) Oct. 19, 20 and Nov. 15 and 20th; Stripping three sites along the north boundary of the claim. (S1, 2 and 3) The sites explored consist of a ridge running from the outcroppings and west tangentially across the claim and off the claim further north_ (explored off claim on intervening days.) The whole ridge is consistent in its geology. Each outcropping and stripped pit yielded some quantity variation of the following 1) Blebs and small seams of Brill quartz with minor sulfides_ 2) Thin seams of coarse grain pegmatite with muscovite. (Very interesting but hardly commercial) 3) Viatite Gneiss 4) Did rite with Albite/Quartz inclusions April 2; Spent about 7 hours exploring north-west escarpment of swamp looking for outcrops Almost no visible rock but interesting indents etc_ suggesting possible wear. Was more interested in south escarpment because it was steeper and possibly more likely to yield a greater variety of visual clues as to geology. Water was far too high to cross. May 20. Got very wet crossing to south-east escarpment. Stripped one very small pit on a small point. Granite gneiss. (S4) June 3. Built small footbridge of poles to be able to cross to south-east side of swamp. Following seven strip pings are spaced about 30 meters apart along the south east escarpment of the swamp. June 14, 15, 16. Stripped two pits to view geology. Both showed granite gneiss. (S5 & 6)

7 July 7, 8 & 9 1 h. Stripping pits 7 & 8. Yielded granite gneiss with biotite. Aug. 8,9, & h Completed last of South-east escarpment strippings (S9, 10, 11.) yielded only granite gneiss. Aug. 20, Sept 2,3, Oct. 14, 15, Nov.? Exploring about half of west claim line. NW corner south to road. Three strippings. S12 results- Blebs and small seams of Brill Quartz with minor sulfides. Didrite with Albite/ Quartz inclusions. Viatile Gneisds with biotite No pegmatite observed. S13 results- As above but with one small seam of pegmatite observed. S14 Results- Granite Gneisse Wet spring. Could not get on to clai,m till May 15 June 14, 15, 16, 17, 21 & 22- Exploring and stripping six pits on north escarpment of swamp. Results as follows. Moreover, considering that my formal education in rock sciences is minimal, have not logged many other hours, nor charged the full rates my time and previous rates of
