11 SKD IMMUNITY: Integrated Model-data approach for understanding Multidecadal Natural variability Project leader Odd Helge Otterå (UNI) IMMUNITY integrates new, high-resolution palaeoclimatic time series and instrumental data with simulations (NorESM) in order to explore the long-term climate variations during the last 1500 years
12 SKD PRACTICE: Predictability of Arctic - North Atlantic climate Project leader Tor Eldevik (UiB) PRACTICE establishes a basis for inter-annual to decadal prediction of Arctic/North Atlantic climate
13 SKD REGSCEN: Regionalisation of Climate Scenarios Project leader Bjørn Ådlandsvik (IMR) REGSCEN works on methods for downscaling in atmosphere and ocean and develops a coupled atmosphere-ocean regional climate model on the basis of the WRF and ROMS models. High resolution climate data sets will be produced.

15 SKD SEALEV: Sea level changes and ice sheets dynamics Project leader Stein Sandven (NERSC) SEALEV works on Greenland ice mass exchanges, thermal expansion, atmospheric forcing and glacio-isostatic adjustment rates in order to increase knowledge of individual processes contributing to sea level changes.
16 SKD BIO-FEEDBACK: Biogeochemical feedbacks in the climate system from processes to large scale effects Project leader Christoph Heinze (UIB) and Richard Bellerby (UNI) BIO-FEEDBACK quantifies biogeochemical feedbacks to climate change and rising atmospheric CO 2 concentrations. The new knowledge will be up-scaled to the regional and global scale in IPCC type climate projections.
