Acquisition Information Gift of William M. Huntley, Processing History Prior to 1997, Special Collections staff initially arranged the collection in two series: photographs and correspondence. Individual items were numbered using an H designation for the collection, followed by a series number and another number for the subject (for example, H-001-2). All material for a specific subject was given the same number, even if it extended to multiple folders. Although many items in the collection still have labels containing these H- numbers, they no longer reflect the arrangement of the collection. The collection was processed by Kurt Ozment in The guide was completed by William Landis in Additional materials were processed by Audrey Pearson in Historical Background Helen (Laura Helen) Gulick and William Martin Huntley were married on February 20, 1909, and had one son, Walter P.
