They must be able to recognize the proportionality of sides and perimeter, and the congruency with angles. Problems range in difficulty.

2 SIMILAR TRIANGLES Scavenger Hunt! Objective: Students will practice solving problems with similar triangles through this scavenger hunt. This includes identifying the scale factor, solving for missing sides, solving problems related to perimeter, and finding angle measures. They must be able to recognize the proportionality of sides and perimeter, and the congruency with angles. Problems range in difficulty. This activity was created for a high school level geometry class, Directions: 1) Print the 20 stations and scatter around the room (and in the hallway if possible, the kids love to leave the room!). 2) Distribute the recording worksheet to each student, then place students in groups of 2-3 and assign a starting problem. They solve the problem at their station. The answer they get will lead them to the next station. They continue looping around until they have completed all 20 stations. Includes student worksheet, 20 stations, and answer key!
